You could say in smartphone years it is antique😁The built-in Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2 is 2 years old, or in other words: When the Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2 was released, the iPhone 14 was cutting edge.
And for everyone who is thinking about getting a tablet for christmas for a loved one. You don't always need to buy the newest. At least if we talk about big brand high end products. Then even a year old device will fulfill you need and more. But be honest, the most people doesn't use a quarter of the power those devices provide. Mostly they get obsolete because of missing support for newer codecs or a death battery is the reason for a tearful separation - so happen with me and an my beloved Huawei MediPad M3😢It was a mispurchase. I actually wanted to buy the similarly named Xiaomi tablet. But in the end I fell in love with the tablet so much that if there was a new edition, I would buy it at any price.

what was wrong with the dex mode?
The Dex mode worked fine. For unknown reasons I got no picture on the second screen over the usc-c cable.
