Mexico is magical. I don't know what it is. I wake up happy in Mexico. I lived in Europe and I never felt welcomed. When I am in Mexico it's like, people are glad I'm there.
You are coming from a very toxic society and people are normalizing it. It will not change. Mexico is such a lovely place. I'm really glad to see African Americans realizing that the world is big and its bigger than the USA. Enjoy guys!

People don't realize how our Mexican culture is like no other. No other place in the world like it. At least in my opinion.

Today I foolishly placed my cellphone in my grocery cart because I didn't have my purse. This was here in Merida. I had a feeling I would forget about it. I did. I didnt realize that I didn't have my phone until 2 hours after I got home. I went back to the grocery store and asked if someone turned in a cell phone. At first they told me no. I went outside and just stared at the returned shopping carts. In a few minutes, the lady at the customer service came outside and told me that someone did turn in a cell phone. I was pretty fortunate that someone returned my phone. People here in Mérida are so awesome!

This video was an absolute joy to watch. Niki is a jewel…so well spoken. I can feel the energy of joy from her. And Cartess, this channel is a gift to those of us who want to make this move. I will be full retirement age in April 2023 and I’m ready to get out of the States. I will be contacting you for guidance. Going to start working on getting rid of all of my “stuff” now.

Getting out of the US is definitely the first step to peace of mind. So happy for you! We have found that making friends outside of the US is easier. After a few weeks in Portugal, I have folks who have been more helpful and caring than most of the folks who crossed my path in the states. Cartess is the man if you want the inside scoop on Mérida.

I am lucky enough to live in a farming area where I can get locally produced meats and produce, it makes such a difference! Also There was a you tuber who left Arizona only being able to eat maybe 3 or 4 different individual foods and she felt bad all the time. Moving to Mexico she was able to really expand the foods she can eat and she is feeling so much better!

I'm thinking of moving to MX full or part time when I retire. I'm concerned that the more people move there, the more it will become like America; meaning they will build and expand to support the growing population. Will they lose farm land to development too? Just a thought.

This video was just what I needed. The energy and the gratitude coming across here truly resonates with me. I have such admiration for you both in your journey there in Mexico (🇲🇽part of the Americas) though this video is in the past and you’ve each experienced life in Merida for a longer duration now it’s my hopes that it will all work out for you both for your individual and familial, spiritual, cultural and psychological needs (the peace, the calm, the nature, the land, the energy) and yes while being able to financially live a quality and thriving lifestyle there.
I don’t remember exactly how I came across any Merida UA-cam videos but one day I decided to watch one or two of them and one was of Tia Niki’s and her journey with her mom to Merida and settling. I was drawn in, I consumed more content from Tia Niki about Merida and her life there outside the US. There is still a strong pull for me to make it to Merida/Yucatan, more than any other beautiful location Mexico I’ve seen via UA-cam,
Merida has maintained a pull for me an energy perhaps

I’ve gone back and forth about wanting to move to Mexico. It’s hard to get my husband on board to move to another state let alone another country. When I showed him Nikki’s journey it sparked something in him. I think if we visit it would seem more like a possibility. His major concern is always a job. A lot of what she needed in her life is exactly what I need. Feel of community (people to have fellowship with), the fresh food (reduced inflammation in the body) etc.. God comes in 3's for me and you are the third. Your words are my final confirmation. I need to start by visiting Merida. You said..."Once you align with it and you feel that energy, it will begin to pull YOU! I believe this. I look forward to your bed and breakfast. I want to vacation but also see places that I could live. I will reach out to Cortez. God has blessed me through you both this morning!!😘

I live in Dallas Texas where we have thousands of Mexican people from all over. I get the same experience. Matter fact my boyfriend is Mexican and I'm. Afro-American. So I get a chance to learn all the cultures right where I'm at. But I still would like to experience another Spanish country.

Loved the video - coming in September for a visit with dental work in mind. I saw where there’s an office across the street, didn’t see the name but I’ll check their dental cost. Good positive vibes for you Niki and your Mom. Thanks
