Llevo desde los 18 años ganandome la vida humildemente con la música en orquestas, escuelas, etc.... Ahora tengo 36 y dos pequeños. La situación creada por la pandemia me ha dejado sin ingresos y además, me he separado. Estoy casi convencido de que tengo que reciclarme en cartero, cocinero o lo que sea. Llevaba un par de semanas hundido, no encontraba motivación en nada y viendo este video, he sentido una chispita que puede que ilumine mi camino a la motivación interna, ya sea para cambiar de trabajo o para seguir con la música, aunque los niños me dejen el tiempo justo para practicar por lo menos para no dar vergüenza en directo.
Estoy empezando a aprender mucho de gente más joven que yo y es maravilloso. Gracias por tu trabajo.

a mis casi 50 a#os y 35 de tocar bateria estoy en medio de una encrucijada acerca de que camino tomar...seguir comprando equipo? seguir estudiando? dejar mi banda? fortalecer mi banda? mandar todo para el carajo???.....este video y la reflexion que contiene es lo que ocupaba...voy a buscar mi motivacion mas profunda y retomar el camino dejado hace bastante tiempo atras...no solo como musico...imaginense!!! me viene a inspirar un joven musico que podria ser mi hijo! jajajaja.....Estepario...GRACIAS MAE!!!

The truth is, there is no rainbow until you create it internally
The pot of gold is already inside each and every one of us, waiting to be discovered.
It's an inside job.
I believe our true purpose in life is to connect with self.
When people learn how to connect internally, that's where they'll discover pure joy and unconditional.

I work hard every day to realize my goals, I eat right, I work out, I practice at least four sometimes ten hours a day, I teach, I'm learning piano and I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I am not rich and I am not popular but I'm so fucking happy. If you do what you love the grind feels amazing and purposeful. Thank you for this shot of motivation, you're a goddamn legend and one of my favorite artists. Time to go practice.

Watching your videos has completely changed my perspective on being a musician. I did spend so much time focusing on where I wanted to be that years passed where I didn't even end up doing anything. A simple change in perspective has me itching to play drums every second I can and be the best I can. I am taking a break due to some wrist strain from improper technique (which is hard as hell and it's only been like 24 hours). Thank you so much for your videos. Pure inspiration!

Esto que expresa este chico en este video, colega como baterista, no es solo para la batería, sino para la vida, creo. Yo pienso que este pibe se merece y no tengo dudas de que en uno de estos días lo tenemos en alguna Banda mundialmente reconocida, tocando para miles de personas y sonando en todas las putas radios, seguramente él, tocando el 10% de lo que puede y sabe ejecutar, pero me gustaría que personas como él lleguen, nos sigan enseñando y ver cómo crecen sin olvidar de todo esto que dijo en este video.

In this moment I'm living a strange situation, covid outside and the decision to leave my work and become a full time luthier, inside. As you can imagine, It's not easy for an hundred of reasons and motivation is the only thing that helps me to keep the index finger pointed to the objective... you know.. when you're working for a new beginning, often you feel surrounded by void, and in those moments it's easy to surrender and give up.
