Goa in a day, Markets & Churches

Having been to India a few times before, it was great to finally travel to the west coast city of Goa, even if it was for only one day. What to see ? I chose the shore excursion with the most city attractions, so was able to see to the Panjim Markets, The Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Se Cathedral with the Catholic Church of St Francis of Assisi. Unfortunately The Immaculate Conception Church was closed that day which is the one I had especially wanted to see, but oh well. All up I would have liked to experience some of the beach areas as well, which is what Goa is also famous for, but I will leave that for next time when I can come back to stay for longer.
