  • I had one day left to run the new 2018 Lund 1875 Impact XS so I made an in-depth video to show you what options and features it has. After one season, I cant honestly say this boat is incredible! I got it winterized and tucked into the storage unit two days ago... so now, bring on the ice!!!

    Got an 1875 Impact. Great boat. I also installed the Fulton Trailer Jack with the bigger wheel 👍👍👍. So much easier to roll.

    THANK YOU very much for this video. VERY informative from the perspective of an actual user. As I'm sure you know, this is the only real "review" of an 1875 Impact XS on youtube. There are several dealer videos and they do a good job but the one you made showing it rigged and stocked is a whole 'nother level buddy. I have been agonizing over the Impact XS vs Pro V and this video helped me FINALLY make up my mind. Im SOLD Impact XS being exactly what I need for fishing/family. Thanks again for the video and I subscribed.

      @@OBOUTDOOR How does it handle big waves and rough water? Have you had a change to run it in bad conditions? I will be taking it up to Erie 1-4 times a year and things can get bumpy there at times.

    I love my 2017 you mention about how you love the vinyl on the bottom of compartments, you would of loved it more if you went all vinyl I have no carpet in mine . when you catch and land fish I just use my bucket and splash water over the casting deck to get rid of the slime, carpet not so easy, if I want carpet I have the snap in option, haven't used it yet, great boats

    What prop are you running on your main engine? I've got the same boat but it came with a 19p aluminum black max. Top end wasn't bad but it blows out quite easy. I have a 17p 4 blade revolution4 in the garage I can't wait to try once the ice leaves. It's a great boat, very versatile! It will satisfy the needs of myself and my family for many years!

    • @klappy803
      @klappy803 4 роки тому

      Ok a little late but the rev 4 17p two guys, calm water, full gear load, half tank of fuel 44.8 mph on the gps. I'm pretty satisfied. In my opinion holds better in the turn and is very quick to plane vs the black max. I haven't had a chance to compare it to a tempest 3 blade but would interested to do so. Also to note I can troll walleyes in normal wind for 4-5 hours with just the 80lb terrova. It works perfect as with the kids (2 and 4 years) I don't yet have a block of time longer than that to fish anyhow.

    • @klappy803
      @klappy803 3 роки тому

      @@Tyler-zw4kq What motor? What prop? Stainless? If you even tweak a blade a little out of perfect it will make a big difference. Just like a little ding on a two stroke dirtbike expansion chamber.

    • @klappy803
      @klappy803 3 роки тому

      @@Tyler-zw4kq Well first off its slower cause its a smaller engine. Secondly get yourself a new prop, whether its aluminum or stainless, a prop with dings is out of balance and is not doing your gear case or fuel economy any favors.

    Impacts are fishing machines. I had the 1875 for 3 years with the 9.9 kicker, decided I wanted to go back to a big tiller (midlife crisis?) for one season, big mistake, just sold it and picking up another Impact in 2 weeks
