Another great video! I picked up the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro today, along with a SmallRig 52mm Universal Magnetic Filter Adapter Ring. This adapter allows me to connect my SmallRig ND Filter without my heavy cage. With my ND filter and 2TB Lexar drive (no hub...and no external mic), I'm at 298 grams! Just made it!
DJI OM6 Load limit weight: 290g. My two plans for DJI OM6: Plan A: iPhone 16 Pro Max (no case) +Hagibis MC100 Pro Hard disk Case(include M.2 NVMe 2230 SSD Hard disk) + Type C cable +DJI MIC MINI+Type C plug: Taotal Weight: 314.6g Plan B: iPhone 16 Pro Max + DJI Phone Clamp+ SmallRig phone case + SmallRig filter holder(67mm) + SmallRig variable ND lens(67mm) + breeding block (20g + 10g) Taotal Weight: 379.2g
FFS, I didn't even consider this when I ordered mine, I have a 15PM, with case its 276g before any brackets to attach it, let alone the little light it comes with! Might have to consider the Hohem iSteady M7 which has a higher payload. Great video, well needed!!
Thank you for showing the m2s, that lighter mic, may be just what I need. Due to gimbal not working with iPhone 16 pro max (no case), ssd+hub, and Dji mic 2 Rx :(
You know you can probably use the iPhone 15 as a separate audio recorder making the setup a little lighter or use the extra released weight towards the lenses
I have the Insta360 Flow Pro and if I plug in my DJI wireless mic receiver the gimbal overheats and shuts down after a few minutes of filming (sometimes as quickly as 2 minutes, sometimes it will work for 5 minutes +). With just a standard iPhone case and the receiver, I am assuming it is under 300g. In the video you showed the heavier ND filter set-up work, but for how many minutes would this work? Even with an under 300g set-up, how long could you get the gimbal to work before overheating and shutting down?
I have asked this question on both of your review videos as well as on those of other channels, but I never get an answer. I am starting to wonder if Insta360 does not want this question answered. I also asked their support team and they said they would get the engineers involved. Even so, I got only a general reply back that did not directly address the issue.
Would it be possible for you to share a summary of the weight of all those accessories? You share them in your video, but without taking notes from your video, there is no summary of the weight of all those accessories. It would be helpful if you could share that. Thank you so much for considering!
Ugh. The same problem different product. A fully loaded pro max with all the attachments is way too heavy or too big for so many products. I always have a Mous case on my phone even when filming. But for some reason every thing is designed for a phone without the protection.
Are you sure about including the weight of the clamp? That feels counter productive. It feels like their guidelines would be after the mount
I didn’t even think about pairing it with ND filters-great idea!
I’m glad you liked that part!

Really helpful review, keep up the awesome content!
I appreciate it, thanks for watching!

If you delete photos and videos it will weigh less
😂😎
Great video, thanks for making this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Depending on the app, and how far you are from the gimbal, you don’t need a receiver for your wireless DJI mics. Or just record to the mic itself.
You are totally right!

I was wondering about the weight limits of this setup, thank you
It can hold a surprising amount of weight!

Can you show how to set it up step-by-step?
What’s the best way to mount this for vlogging?
How does it handle with heavier accessories like lights or external monitors?

Your Logo looks cool. Can i know which font is it ?
Can you use it with a microphone and still keep it balanced?
Yes it can. It depends on how heavy everything is.
Does it work with all phone sizes or just specific ones?
Another winner video 🤗
Yay! Thank you!
Does it work well with other ND filters?
Yep. As so long as your max payload is 300g
Can it produce 180-degree (9-shot) photos? Only 360-degree photos are mentioned in videos.
BTW, I regard it a design flaw that it can not handle at least 350-400 grams of payload. They know exactly what more advanced customers wish to use.

I totally get it, that’s why I’m trying to find the right balance!
@ great content by the way.
