I agree, getting a true stereo image would be nice, but if you're going for a single speaker solution, this is a great option.
Been waiting for this one. Keep seeing it in the background of your vids. Definitely interested in this one. I agree with you, it would be nice to use as a pair. Keep up the great work and stay positive brother!

You could always turn them into a stereo pair by splitting your computer's audio output into L/R and running those channels into the 3.5mm ports. Sure this restricts you to wired usage, but that seems preferable in a desktop setting anyway since you're likely gaming or watching video with them and bt latency could be an issue

Well, yes.
But maybe someone's just rocking On-Board Audio, in which case it may be that each speaker is fed half the oumph from the input source, no?
In which case the stereo-effect may be complete, albeit at the cost of it being a bit more muted.
That said, the regular ol' onboard Audio might just cut it if the source connection happens to be an Apple product. But that too, has it's limits beyond which it may sound less robust than what one would hope for.
@@cannotkazi It's a powered speaker. The on board audio wouldn't have to drive the speaker, it just needs to deliver the signal.

Understandably it is. What I'm saying is that split of said signal isn't going to be ideal without a DAC or something bolstering it.
I only happen to mention this because I've always had "Powered" speakers. And such splits have many a times ended up diminishing
loudness in my case, when using on-board audio.

With any luck they'll make proper desktop versions of these in the form factor of their other offerings in that space. A lot of people would likely be interested in that.
I've been a long time fan of this brand. They have made really good products at reasonable prices.
@gamesky I think you can do left and right with those through aux, just buy a 3.5mm splitter that splits the left and right.
Maybe they will do some kind of firmware update so you can pair them up in a stereo set up. If that is even possible.
Hopefully the next revision becomes portable and pairable.
Unfortunately that is a deal breaker for me, bet definitely seesm promising and i am very interested in one.
Although I am listening many things in mono starting by my tv.

Do you think it would be enough to use with a gaming pc? I was about to buy the Edifier 1280 DBS but then I saw these. I can't compare both, I'm sure 1280 DBS is a lot better in sound quality but I mainly want to use some good speakers on my desktop pc both for gaming and sometimes listening to music or watching movies. This looks amazing by the way. But I don't know if it is worth giving up the 1280 DBS and get these for my use purpose. What would you suggest?
Is this better than the Edifier D32?
DAC? 48/96/192kHz? 16/24bit? for Usb connection.

Sure looks cool, but you can do a lot better for $200.
What on earth is the point of these speakers? No stereo. Not rechargeable. Not portable. Just buy a set of Edifier's excellent Bluetooth bookshelf speakers, get better sound and save some money. I have bought many Edifier products but these are a big NO.
The point is it's a desktop speaker... So it doesn't need to be portable nor rechargeable. The only deal breaker here is it's not stereo given it's price.
I only have 1 ear that works since my birth. I don’t need stereo system nor I need 2 speakers.
