@@Fosito the accurate representation of people watching it the first time. Ngl watching it the first time, seems kinda bit like fillers but i rewatched it again that those fillers has a ton of details i missed
I'm going to be that guy today; The interesting part of Steins;Gate 0 is how many find it kind of boring as a series compared to the original - which in my opinion, seemed like the whole point. As he accepted Kurisu's death, Okabe's life was completely drained of all color. He finally gave up. He got up on his feet again, sure, but deep inside, he felt it was all his fault. He could've done something - anything. But he tried, right? He just gave up completely, and we're talking about a normally energetic and quirky person here. The beauty of 0 was how it so perfectly showed us what depression does to someone. Everything is pointless, you just glide through the days. Nothing more. You just want things to pass, instead of enjoying those things and getting some meaning out of them. Unless you break out of the horribly tangled circle you've been stuck in for years, it'll be over. And with your death, comes absolutely no relief - because you're not alive to know what that is anymore. However, Okabe had a spark, something that made him realize what really mattered and how it fueled his love for himself and others. He broke out of it, and he knew exactly what to do. That's why it's beautiful - because even if you are at your absolute lowest, something can suddenly give you the means to change. Which of course, comes from within. Isn't it ironic? The thing that has tormented you for years - your own mind - was the very thing that saved you in the end. And you wonder; "why did I let this much time pass? How could I not realize what I had? I've had my head stuck in the sand for so long, but for what? I know what matters to me now, but I will never get that time back." And you are left thinking about how you got consumed by yourself for the rest of your life. Even if it all got better, eventually. It really is a terribly sad thing. But, I also think there's a beauty to such suffering. How someone can be so broken inside, how they can't see a shred of light in anything... until they just do. That never ceases to amaze me.
Man, I know ep25 is not canon. But it is to me. I can’t imagine them not being together. I haven’t seen Steins;Gate 0 yet since I feel it would be too depressing to see Okabe without Karisu.
Well, it is kind of up to the viewers to decide, but to me it's kind of self explanatory that the ending refers to Okabe and Kurisu ending up together, no matter when or how, or on which timeline! Also, I genuinely think the Steing;Gate 0 is amazing, sure, it hurts like hell, but (without spoilers, if you still haven't watched it) the ending of it is simply amazing, and watching episode 23-25 of the main series afterwards just hit even better!
Wait, episode 25 is not canon? Omg! Then I have to get the true end of the vn as soon as possible to see the difference, I am currently playing the vn by the way, I only lack the two endings of the kurisu route
Untill now I haven't understood this yet. The thing is that perhaps she could remember the most important memories, like she on the Akihabra bridge, on the lab or maybe the kiss. But. I think a person is not totally the same if he or she has not got ALL his or her memories. I don't know if I'm expressing myself well, but, if Kurisu doesn't remember like what she did the, IDK, the 7th of August at 6 pm, or what she thought in a concrete moment, she could not be the same person Okabe met. I am talking about the small things which characterize someone. If she hasn't got those, she can't be the same :( This is not for being hater, but for feeling really sad You want to talk and, like, continue your life with a friend, family or lover because of everything (all the "data") you've "created" and lived up to now. Do you understand me? :(
@@david_ga8490 She'll remember little bits of it, and as they talk about in S;G 0, it's a 'close enough' situation. Minor S;G 0 spoilers, btw: Amadeus Kurisu is based off Kurisu from about four months before S;G, and she's pretty much the same person. This Kurisu has the same memories as the one throughout S;G, just having forgotten about a month or two - so she should be even closer to the one Okabe knew, except this time she even remembers some of it.
This is one of the VERY few scenes that got my in the feels, it managed to give me that heavy throat feeling. But no anime has made my shed a tear yet :P Yes, I have watched Angel Beats and Clannad, didn't give a shit about any of the characters, I was wondering when the sad part was meant to be when I finished them both.
This show and Dark (netflix) really change my perspective and little bit confusing me about time and travelling, so abstract but feel so real at the same time, both of them are great show and i think this ending is really satisfying and still can't moving on from it ❤😅
For me this series can never be compared with any show, this is just a masterpiece and truly unique, this is one of the animes that you cannot forget. That's why for me this anime is not comparable with any anime out there
To this day idk why some people say ep 22's ending is the more appropriate and true ending and this is all a "fanservice" ending just to please audiences. Everything in ep 23 was set up from episode 1, so to leave it at 22 naturally leaves the story incomplete. Sure even with the convenient magic video that just happens to come save the day with the answer to reach SG, it all makes sense anyway within the limit of the story. Even if the Okabe we've been following was given a convenient happy ending.. just by looking at that video you know despite his future self still acting chuuni.. he's been through worse and seen some shit that OG Okabe can't even comprehend. That finding that happy ending wasn't easy. It took 15 years. So either way you just know (even without SG0) that everything was rightfully earned. For all they did, both OG Okabe and Zero Okabe deserved the happy ending they wanted.
@@raghavgoyal8697 Cos no matter what.. Okabe doesn't leave his friends to die. That just isn't his character. It doesn't matter if the worldline will shift and it will never have happened. These people mean everything to him. With every single version of them.. he isn't gonna abandon. Technically the worldline wouldn't have been shifted to Steins Gate for another 11 years when Suzuha would time travel to 2010 to carry out the plan. He also did it cos he promised Kagari he would bring Mayuri back. You can also think of it as him wanting to do something as he left 2025 to deceive convergence. He was fated to die in 2025 so he wasn't gonna be able to return.. so why not do something heroic as one last middlle finger to convergence.
@@Filimaua13 I agree, but ya there are many different theories that people say like he couldn't go back to future as the reading Steiner will activate and can cause trouble for St World line. But this is also not sure though. According to me the characters of 0 world line have all performed there tasks so they will vanish like Suzuha in S1. Because according to Ova ep and movie, okabe doesn't remember anything about 0 world line
Many people didn't even like it at first but tbh I really enjoyed from the very first episode and this anime is a piece of art beauty crafted Undoubtedly a masterpiece
Been comparing this scene with original vn scene and i can clearly say this one is far more superior than the vn one with this point : 1. Bgm choosing , the original one use gate of steiner/believe me which sounds sad/tragic tone. The anime one use the end part of "farewell" which have sadness/happiness/reunion/separation tone. 2 Expression - in original vn kurisu cries of joy after founding okabe while okabe surprised, which then okabe, not knowing what to do , answer the fake call and still act surprised because he did not expect to met her at all In the anime version kurisu smile and grateful when she found okabe but did not cry. And imo that is more proper expression for this scene as okabe is just a stranger for her at this time. And the best single scene is okabe expression after kurisu talk to him. At start, Okabe expression filled with surprised and happiness for the reunion, yet also have a sadness as he know kurisu and he is just a stranger in this timeline. But then he realized that memories and bonds are always carried over in different timelines, steins gate are not exception. He then answer the fake call, but with the intention of joking himself and also thanking the universe for reuniting him, with a sense of gratefulness for reaching the steins gate after all the effort he done to save his world - so much that we can see okabe hold his tears during the call. 3. Inviting kurisu as labmem In vn , okabe calls kurisu 'christina' was not intentional in which he then realize kurisu different timeline memories still carried over in this timeline. Anime version okabe calls kurisu Christina because he already knows how kurisu will react. And that act really show how okabe characters develop. From just a chuunibyou - into a hero that recovers from deep despair and achieved his goal because he refuse giving up. And i think thats what makes this 2.40 min scene made me cry. This is how i elaborate the scene. Please tell me if you have different opinion.
And this is how you end the anime, writers have to keep note, i am not saying the exact ending, but the ending people wants should always be considered

That's because you want to know how their lives evolved and continued. Imagine if the end was episode 22.
From the japanesse, it easily could have happened...
@@david_ga8490 That would be heartbreaking, it gave me a few sad days anfter i finished it, cant imagine with a sad ending

"Your Name" my ass. Now this is a true romance
Tbh, after I just played Steins gate 0 of the ending, I think this is actually the true answer that has been completed, and the timeline as well
This anime is perfection
When they were walking by each other I was worried they'd pull a 5 cm per Second ending...
I never understood how a lot if people didn’t like the first 11 episodes because even tho it gets way better at episode 12 I never felt bored in the first 11 episodes
Me too, it was intriguing
To me it did seem a bit boring but not to the point of considering it bad
me too, i never get bored of first 11 ep

@@Fosito the accurate representation of people watching it the first time.
Ngl watching it the first time, seems kinda bit like fillers but i rewatched it again that those fillers has a ton of details i missed
Steins;Gate the best franchise i’ve ever watched, it made me cried from both sadness and happiness 😭😭
I cried with happiness when I saw this scene and the plains because it was my first emotional anime.
I've watched more than 300 animes, and this one is the best by a wide margin. Absolute masterpiece.
I'm going to be that guy today;
The interesting part of Steins;Gate 0 is how many find it kind of boring as a series compared to the original - which in my opinion, seemed like the whole point.
I know what matters to me now, but I will never get that time back."
And you are left thinking about how you got consumed by yourself for the rest of your life. Even if it all got better, eventually.
It really is a terribly sad thing. But, I also think there's a beauty to such suffering. How someone can be so broken inside, how they can't see a shred of light in anything... until they just do. That never ceases to amaze me.
Steins;Gate 0 is just as good as the original. It's much betted IMO.
Definitely, for me Steins;Gate 0 just made the original Steins;Gate even better for me
@@nehh_aksat I prefer the original (mostly because I like the more limited scope), but the S;G 0 anime is in the same tier as S;G. It's a masterpiece.
I’m fortifying this comment in my safe.
Until just now I didn't realize how great this ending scene is.
The good version of "The Butterfly Effect" 's finale? lol
Props to the sound team they nailed it with everything
The plot steins gate stand as a god in animeverse
@@martoncsorba steins gate 0 take its own feel, but only thing is first 15 episodes are boring af, but reat of anime was awesome
Well you can view it as anime canon, same with the movie
Wait, episode 25 is not canon? Omg! Then I have to get the true end of the vn as soon as possible to see the difference, I am currently playing the vn by the way, I only lack the two endings of the kurisu route
Same, this ending is enough satisfying for me ❤
still makes me tear up even it's in 240p
This scene was so beautifully done.
I swear, I never shipped it harder in my whole life. Sail, my lovely ship, SAIL!!
Remember that Kurisu doesn't remember everything clearly.
Which is very sad.
except okabe can just trigger reading steiner here like he did with Faris. perfect ending
If she hasn't got those, she can't be the same :(
This is not for being hater, but for feeling really sad
You want to talk and, like, continue your life with a friend, family or lover because of everything (all the "data") you've "created" and lived up to now.
Do you understand me? :(
@@david_ga8490 in the ova and the movie explain,
she remembers parts of her memories,
the most important to her
@@david_ga8490 She'll remember little bits of it, and as they talk about in S;G 0, it's a 'close enough' situation.
Minor S;G 0 spoilers, btw:
Amadeus Kurisu is based off Kurisu from about four months before S;G, and she's pretty much the same person. This Kurisu has the same memories as the one throughout S;G, just having forgotten about a month or two - so she should be even closer to the one Okabe knew, except this time she even remembers some of it.

After watching steins gate0
This scene really makes me wanna cry out loud out of happiness😭😭
This is one of the VERY few scenes that got my in the feels, it managed to give me that heavy throat feeling. But no anime has made my shed a tear yet :P
Yes, I have watched Angel Beats and Clannad, didn't give a shit about any of the characters, I was wondering when the sad part was meant to be when I finished them both.

This scene gives me so much joy. It will never get old for me.
Over the course of watching hundreds of animes, this anime is the only one that I remind every night, and watch again and again
Oh yeah, the video's 11 years old...
Well, guess it'll still be relevant in 11 more years to come.
This show and Dark (netflix) really change my perspective and little bit confusing me about time and travelling, so abstract but feel so real at the same time, both of them are great show and i think this ending is really satisfying and still can't moving on from it ❤😅
Genius writing, no other anime can match
For me this series can never be compared with any show, this is just a masterpiece and truly unique, this is one of the animes that you cannot forget. That's why for me this anime is not comparable with any anime out there

@@roseedits6359 Yes :)
Can you tell me that did 0 timeline vanished in the end
@@raghavgoyal8697 Yes
@@Filimaua13 then why okabe went in the past to save mayuri and suzuha when it was anyway going to end.
One of the best endings, if not the best, an anime could ever ever have. That’s why it’s top on the list of best animes ever!
Many people didn't even like it at first but tbh I really enjoyed from the very first episode and this anime is a piece of art beauty crafted
Undoubtedly a masterpiece
Don't trust an anime fan if they didn't know this series.
Been comparing this scene with original vn scene and i can clearly say this one is far more superior than the vn one with this point :
1. Bgm choosing , the original one use gate of steiner/believe me which sounds sad/tragic tone. The anime one use the end part of "farewell" which have sadness/happiness/reunion/separation tone.
2 Expression - in original vn kurisu cries of joy after founding okabe while okabe surprised, which then okabe, not knowing what to do , answer the fake call and still act surprised because he did not expect to met her at all
In the anime version kurisu smile and grateful when she found okabe but did not cry.
3. Inviting kurisu as labmem
In vn , okabe calls kurisu 'christina' was not intentional in which he then realize kurisu different timeline memories still carried over in this timeline.
No opinion at all dude.perfection!!
Just finished this last 2 weeks and honestly, I really miss this show already ☹️ No any other come close with this in terms of drama
And this is how you end the anime, writers have to keep note, i am not saying the exact ending, but the ending people wants should always be considered
