That's the video I was looking for cause I wasn't sure which one to buy first. However I expected your final opinion to be more one-sided, so to say. You made my choice even tougher to be honest :) But my main criteria is fun during the assembly and since I'm a naked bike rider, my choice is the streetbike. By the way, the black thing on the BMW's rear wheel you miss on the replica is nothing but a splash guard :)
+zniesmaczony Oh I'm sorry for making your decision even harder to make, though the reason to why I didn't fully put out the final result in the end was because of all the the hate comments I would receive if done so. Have experienced that with earlier similar videos😉 anyway yes, if your main criteria is to have a enjoyable building session, the road style bike is the way my to go in my opinion too. Ahh yeah I see, I'm not very much of a bike guy so that might be correct👍☺

Well That's not a problem
the Streetcycle is more a cheap racer, cuz they're (real bikes) made of a metal frame that is not fancy aluminium, and the panels are plastic. engine is not big, so these bikes cost new:500$ used:200-50$. I have one.

Wait about the suspension the bmw suspension is soft as it can be used for off-roading
I think they could add much more features in bikes with the same scale...
Check my videos: I built bikes with gearbox, clutch and motor...
Also, it would be great to have a giant motorcycle with plenty of features!

Oh and there are bikes with shaft drive, so saying that the BMW is less realistic is kinda wrong
After publishing this video I´ve gotten told several times that shaft drive does exist, so it´s all my mistake for not researching it closer before the video.

you know, reals BMW R 1200 GS and a few other bikes use gears instead of chain for their drivetrain. great video anyway !

your 42036 is probably not broken in, mine spins a lot better. maybe you can grease it with coconut oil.
