Absolutely Outstanding! Thank you Massy and Dr. Zimmerman💐 My key takeaway ~ "If you don't do it in private, you will not be able to do it in public." I love myself enough to be consistent and create a routine.
You're so very welcome. This is a great takeaway, and one of my favorite things said during this discussion, it is so powerful and true. Thank you for commenting, what will be your first step to consistency and creating that routine?
My takeaway is loving my inner wounded child and loving her well enough to create healing. Next is forgiveness, forgiving myself for my lack of knowledge and learning the lessons. ❤❤❤ This message has been very powerful and easily digestible. Confirm for what I am already practising.❤❤❤
I love myself enough to let go of other people's expectations of me and create and take action on my expectations of myself, loving me unapologetically.
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve affirmed myself this exact same message regarding being prompt. When I show up on time and my priorities are in order, I feel solid and grounded. I notice that it all starts with those early first thing in the morning routines and how I end my evenings. When these two are in alignment, everything else effortlessly falls into place.
@ShadaeBalancesKnightAstro you are very welcome! Thank you for sharing your experience, too. It really is life changing, and I feel accomplished even in the smallest ways. Grounded is a great way to describe it, and it also brings me peace.
I love myself to invest in me, to make myself a priority without feeling like I'm being selfish. I love myself enough to know that I am WORTHY and that I AM good enough! Thank you for helping me see that I am not the only one who feels what I feel.
I love myself enough to confront my nine year old self and hug her and let her know that what she went through was not her fault. The trauma, and resentment I carried then will no longer be my excuse for my actions now. I release it! I have been practicing self-love, self-care and spiritual journey for 4 months now. I am practicing a growth mentality through affirming and thanking God for it in advance. I am currently going through a divorce and I chose to not let this break me. I can make it through this because it is happening for a reason. I trust the process. God is in control. Bless you all on your journey. We all got this!
Good for you with a show!!❤ Outstanding episode! Beautiful simple true. Self love is the loving parenting or higher self in relationship with you and you. Its reparenting the abandonded, rejected, ignored parts of you all day. So lovely to hear experience this❤❤❤
Beautiful conversation! I've actually never liked the term "self-love" honestly because I felt like it alluded to an excuse to be self-absorbed. This definition of it resonates MUCH more, like acknowledging your deep value, purpose, and the truth that you are (I am) a marvelous creation, fearfully and wonderfully made - powerful! I feel like this is best understood in the Biblical narrative. Loved this so much. Thank you, Massy!
Massy, thank you so much for this episode. I love myself enough to share this love with someone else who might be struggling in this area and who might just need reassurance in knowing that I love them with the love of God, which is a true love. An AGAPE love that never changes and is always the same yesterday, today, and forever more.
The ritual of bringing in our inner child, recognizing them, speaking to them, and affirming them...this is beautiful! I want to start this kind of practice to love up on my inner child. I love myself enough to recognize and love up on my inner child.
I needed this my beautiful queens!!! You reminded me that I am capable, worthwhile, and lovable. I ❤myself enough to eat healthy & take care of my holy temple.
Thank you for this. I've lost my wife and kids because of self destructive addictive behaviors. I'm alone, I'm homeless. I've lost everything, I was on the brink of giving up. But I'm leaving this comment, signing off and I'm going to have a conversation with my younger self to start my journey back.
I love myself enough to give myself grace when I’m not parenting to the best of my abilities and letting my triggers get ahold of me. I love myself enough to exemplify good healthy habits. I love myself enough to repave the mislead habits to be the best me. Thank you to you both. From the bottom of my heart. You have no idea the hearts and minds you touch and on what days you touch them. I needed to hear this today and I’m so blessed to have come across it. ❤❤❤
You hit the nail on the head, when you talked about a surface level society…sooo true! People are so hung up on all the wrong things…looks being a big one! This is particularly a problem we women…we are sooo hard on ourselves and compare ourselves so much! And, we are not one to other women…we are hard on them too!! We all need to practice learning to live ourselves!!! This was very good!!
“The first step is to forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for what you didn’t know. How could you know? Forgive yourself for the choices you made based on your survival skill. Not feeling good enough, not feeling loveable, creates behavior. I think it, I feel it, then I behave it. Because I can’t out-perform my belief system, I’m going to have the performance of a person who doesn’t believe they’re good enough. And who doesn’t know how to turn the corner. The first step is to forgive yourself. And when you have the same behavior again after getting the information, to forgive yourself again.” I have waited my entire life to hear someone articulate why I made some of choices I have made in my life. Thank you immensely.
What a stupendous content! Just yesterday i was singing A THOUSAND YEARS to my SELF ..... and I am with Massy... exercise has taught me SO MANY THINGS in different areas of my life 😊
🙏🏾 Thanks …. My takeaway- “Being present in every thing we do. Follow a routine, honour myself. You visualise, seeing yourself succeed, the mind will follow “
Massy, you are amazing! I absolutely engage myself with your message. The biggest issue these days is a lack of fisical activity and one not spend time with oneself and her little children. This process by itself is amazingly healing. So much love. Walk and run our thoughts not sit them down.
In my own perspective, i think loving yourself is the best thing you can practice ever, and forgiving yourself for what you didn't know about due to certain circumstances and experience. This episode is indeed helpful... Looking forward to the next Shalom
I'm so sorry you were feeling that way. You are beautiful and worthy of amazing things, I hope you can take what you learned from this video and carry it out into your life.
@ Thank you, I’m slowly working on myself and loving myself more. I was filled with hatred and I have released it and boy, I feel peace for the first time.
Absolutely phenomenal message. Truly inspiring. Transparency, as well as vulnerability, takes great courage. And it was displayed masterfully, in this beautiful message. Thank you both. Keep walking in your light Queen. It’s beautiful to witness. 🤞🏽❤️✨
Such valid points were made during this episode. We can never see, perceive, or even interpret the language & communication of self love, unless we identify it within ourselves 1st. Being subjected to past traumas, we do tend to habitually associate love with seeking validation through people's words of, gifts of or even trips to, however how can we have fully experienced such pure joy & fulfillment if we were never at the zenith of our loved self. These episodes are so enlightening. Terrific job🙌🏾
Your talk was interesting, important, and needed. How quick are we to think we have to have our nails & hair done, a new bag, shoes, and maybe even plastic surgery? We don't. It seems to happen at even younger ages. Delena said that self-love is intrinsic. So true. I see it as foundational and enabling one to be resilient, pivot, and build on who you are. I noticed you didn't use an old term, self-esteem. Self-love seems to encompass more and is rich in meaning.
I love myself enough to continue my healing journey and not fall back into poor habits of over giving of myself to the point there is nothing left for me. Also to remember as Dr. Zimmerman has taught me that I have everything I need, I lack nothing and that it’s okay to do it scared.
You amazing women are a whole inspiration 👏🏽❤️👏🏽. I have been a teacher for 16 years. I had a restaurant business for seven years while teaching. Then sold it three years ago. I opened an adult English school nine months ago. At the end of August, I was forced to close it due to health issues. I also ended my marriage and moved far away to focus on my health and mental wellbeing. On top of not being “intentionally” taught to love myself, chaotic relationships with two men who are heavily reliant on alcohol have derailed my confidence. I am immensely competent at many things but I’ve literally crawled into a shell for the past 11 years. Ladies, if someone is an alcoholic, the love you feel for this person cannot force him to change. No matter how much you think you can help, you will only hurt yourself. It’s haaard but you have to choose you and allow that person to hopefully begin their healing journey. I’m finally learning to love and affirm myself. Sending everyone peace, light and love ❤️✨🦋
Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I'm proud of you for recognizing the hard things that have happened in your life, but fighting through and loving yourself. What are your favorite affirmations to give yourself?
Thank you Queen! I’m definitely a work in progress. I’m learning to be as gentle with myself as I am with others. Each day I repeat, “I am love. I am light. I am peace. I am joy. My essence is divine. It took me a while to look myself in the mirror, say these words and not cringe. I still have work to do though. I’m so happy I came across your channel. I’m truly proud of you. Continue to bless us with all that you do. ✨🌱🦋
