I remember when my buddy introduced me to this game. He said I would like the music. He was damn right. Played it with him all through junior year of high school. Didn’t play it as much senior year because of Covid. But we are still really close friends. I’d even call us brothers😄
I remember when I first downloaded Hearthstone on a whim on my phone in bed at midnight I didn’t sleep the entire night. The game taught me a lot of life lessons about how to think through problems. I don’t play the game anymore, but being a top legend player every month for over a year is one of my best accomplishments. I’m not enchanted by Blizzard these days as much, but I have poured an incredible amount of time and passion into so many influential and magical Blizzard games...Diablo II, Warcraft 3, StarCraft, StarCraft 2 World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone. Literally thousands of days of playtime. I don’t regret it at all.
This soundtrack needs to be spread far and wide, the Epic Video Games version is fine, but this is so much more complete, and has some absolutely fantastic tracks on it

So for anyone wondering how to get the files for themselves 1. Install Hearthstone 2. Download the latest UABE release github.com/DerPopo/UABE/releases 3. Extract it, run AssetBundleExtractor.exe 4. Open musicexpansion_base_global-0.unity3d in Hearthstone\Data\Win along with the other 3 similarly named files, the program will ask if you want to extract, say yes and save it as a file anywhere you like 5. Click Info, you'll see a list of music files, select all of them, click Plugins, "Export sound" should be selected, click OK and select somewhere to save the files Done - you have your music files as .wav, you can rename and enjoy.
Turns out the musicexpansion files only contain some expansion music. You have to dig around other files to find all the songs. Some of them are buried in piles of sound effects which makes them hard to find. I extracted all the AudioClip files contained in all of the unity3d bundles - mega.nz/file/4uw2kbBL#aP6P-cJTe1oIg3CXchmUFbTOP6slUf2k4uqBOGTMX5Y (10.43GB - 23k files) I also pruned all the sound effects and other non-music audio from that - mega.nz/file/xzxjWSyb#Meel6kDChhlwLl3DSMRcuhtcdwoqk_MA8JfS7EXsRQU (3.20GB - 148 files) And finally I compiled it all in a digestible folder structure and renamed all the files, not unlike this video's description (but in a different manner which made more sense to me) - mega.nz/file/w2omyTYS#sE1fZm79pT3wxYqTrcDzJwkMWn3ZHFbKn8kUbbZscLE (3.11GB - 141 files) By the way @Somepony I have no idea where you got your version of Mulligan but I can't find it in the game files. The one file I have that's named "Mulligan" (there's also an A, B, C, and lots of remixed versions for expansions) doesn't sound like yours. There's the one in the official soundtrack but it has tavern ambient sound effects in the background.

I basically felt the same. Used LotR soundtracks for work before HS bit after I only kept Concerning Hobbits and HS OST on my work playlist for years
I've never played it, and I still have to admit it's great as "work music."
