I think the family is so against the dmso theory because they likely don't want Gloria to look stupid or they suggested it to her and don't want to feel guilty. Or they don't want to feel at fault for the people who got ill

Wendigoon has a lot of great videos. He’s got iceberg videos about various different things, he loves UA-cam based analog horror series, which he’s done a few videos on, they are fairly lengthy, but I recommend them if you find the time. He does a lot of videos on strange historic events, like the time the CIA faked a vampire attack. He’s got a lot of great content.
I'd recommend his "The boys on the Tracks" or something like that, probably my favorite video of his, or his Backrooms video or any of the Mandela Catalogue videos or really anything his videos are so good
As someone who's watched all of Wendigoon's vids since the early Conspiracy Iceberg series vids, it's hard to point out just one video of his to recommend, because the way he writes his scripts and his personality are top tier.
For more medical stuff, the "Most Painful Death Ever" is a solid pick
For some more religious/spiritual content, the Divine Comedy (Dante's Inferno, etc) are great to listen to
For more light-hearted content, any of the conspiracy videos are good.
He really has a good variety of content to sift through

Yoooo I love wendigoon. You have to watch more. Most people watch his iceberg videos or conspiracy theories,(which are still good) but he has so many more interesting videos than that.

yeah and apparently lidocaine is effectively cocaine according to another person who commented LOL so we still kinda use it in medicine today
of course, years ago i had stones on my gallbladder and from time to time the pain was so bad that i needed a shot of whatever, later i learned that those anesthetics were variants of opium and heroin, the nurse told me to take care instead of relying on the injections cuz it can create dependency, no wonder lol the almost instant effect was like a divine miracle
It’s possible that the incident doesn’t happen as commonly as it should was because
(1) She was an unusual patient with unusual amount of DMSO2 in her system
(2) Even at such high concentration of DMSO2, the chance of it becoming DMSO4 by using defibrillator was very unlikely.
I think it's depressing as the woman never had a chance to live just from a choice that she herself made, sometimes you're just fucked and you don't know it yet, like cosmic horror and also yeah, kinda jaded and desensitized from internet stuff, doesn't mean i don't feel for her but when it said depressing i was thinking even more depressing than this lol.

Wendigoon has great content i would also suggest watching concpiracy iceberg and the "The Mystery of the Bomb Collar Bank Heist" video he is fantastic
They used cocoa leaves in coke, not actual cocaine. It's sensationalized. If you purify cocoa leaves then you can get cocaine.

@@CodeeXD Yes, but same as caffeine in coffee. Hence why they switched from cocoa leaves -> caffeine to still wanting that mild stimulant so people can get addicted to drinking more of it.
like that dude said, the leaves are already a stimulant and in places like Perú and Bolivia still today there's still people who munches the leaves for the effects, also the Paracas' culture had skull trephination, the person was probably given a concoction made of those leaves to sent his mind flying away while the medic/shaman made a hole in the skull and replaced it with a plate made of gold, crazy techniques for a time before anesthetics, disinfectants and antibiotics.
