Hi all, sorry for delay in replying due to unexpected health issues. I kept the silver items in carry on bag and wore gold. Yes they did check in airport. We declared value of all ornaments carried in the form given. If the value of items carrying below the limit of 10K USD you are fine and also declare how much will remain in USA. We carried bills but they didn't ask anything.
