Hi I have Altima 2014 (2.5 Automatic). I have recently changed the mounting (the big one which is close the power steering oil reservoir) but right after changing the mounting I started hearing whining noise which slows down when car speeds up or so I feel. Apart from whining there is no other issue in steering operations, any expert what could be the reason or any possible resolution you can suggest! Thanks in advance!
Hello. Thank you for posting your question. First of all we need to start with the basics. Step 1, is the power steering fluid at the correct level? Step 2, when the inside is running check the power steering fluid level and check for the correct level. Also, with the engine running how does the fluid looks, do you see any foaming? If you see any foaming in the fluid that would be an indication of air trapped in the system. I hope this help. Please keep me posted.

Make sure the copper washers are on both ends.
I had the same issue, never had any issues until my mounting was changed
I have a 2012 maxima it’s doing this now my steering wheel isn’t hard but it’s whining hopefully it’s just hose and not the whole pump
Yes it was a good display, but you don't. showed ho d's w you changed the return hose.
