I love using Dutch doors in my journals! I prefer to read the physical books in my home libraries before I buy any more! Just love the tactile sensation of turning pages in physical books - and seeing them lined up on the shelves.. tfs
I hadn't read properly for YEARS! Then one of my friends encouraged me to sign up for the Goodreads 2022 Reading Challenge. I also set a goal of 3 books a month initially, and am now sitting on books completed for the year so far. 😂
I'm starting my first EVER reading journal! I'm doing this because I want to actually REMEMBER the books I've read! My comprehension is horrible and I take notes in a little spiral notebook and then I add some of those notes to my reading journal. I'm starting mine now to see how many books I can read in a month. I'm already on my 3rd book! YAY! (new subbie)
This is a journal for me and I find it extremely useful. If you don’t find inspiration from it, there are plenty of videos out there. Just a reminder that there are real people behind accounts and words can be hurtful. Thanks!
@@ErinFlotoDesigns I was complimenting the artistry involved as well as saying that it doesn't seem very useful in the sense that there is a lot of wasted space. I've been looking at a lot of commercially available Reading Journals, trying to sort them in terms of usefulnes to me, so this is what I was saying. Sorry if I didn't make this clear. When I used to upload videos I had to develop a thick skin because of the comments. I didn't mean to be rude, but there are many haters and trolls who do.
Luv the stickers TFS
Those stickers were a perfect addition!
Honestly it was a huge inspiration for me to even start this journal and to pick this particular book!

Welcome!!! I love hearing the “why” when it comes to starting a reading journal
I think this is adorable! I have this washi from Amazon too for my reading journal 😆
I also read a lot on KU - can't wait to see what you find there!
Do you know if those alphabet stamps that clip together are still available??
I believe I got them at Michaels craft store
This is very pretty but not really very useful.
