Thank you! We're just starting to get out there, so yes and no. We haven't made it "big" in terms of playing a lot of the huge festivals, though we have played at some. Our calenders are filling up both locally and in surrounding states, and we are trying to travel and visit festivals as much as we can.
Thank you so much Gene!! My sister Leanna and I are touring some now as The Price Sisters; this past June we had a show at Monroe's Bean Blossom Festival, showcased as scholarship winners for Grey Fox in New York, and next summer we're playing multiple days at the High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival in Colorado. We have more dates, but that is just a few. We don't have a website yet, but do have a fan page on facebook for the band. :)
newheart1109 Hello "newheart1109," Don't know if Lauren may have answered your question yet, in some way besides here; but I just researched Mr. Monroe's tuning for this song, and thought I'd pass it along to you! According to the site: "Mandolin Cafe" the tuning, (from the lowest set of strings to the highest), is as follows: G#-G#/C#-C#/G#-B/C#-E Hope you get to try this, (if you're a "picker" yourself, & that you'll enjoy playing it!! As for myself; I hope to get a new Mandolin of my own soon, so that I can finally try to learn & play it too!! 😊
Your mom and dad have to be so proud to know how you an Leanna bring so much love to this world... GOD BLESS you all
Lauren this is BEAUTIFUL.

You can't go wrong playing Monroe style. He wrote the book on bluegrass mando.
He invented it
