I mean, maybe there is a similarity, but Victoria is so different though. I find her music much more positive, better vibe. I like Victoria better than Billie
I think it's right to compare them, as they have some similarities, especially with the "high-breath parts". But they are also quite different, strong individual qualities. I love them both :)

What gives Victoria profound power is her complete honesty. She's not afraid to be vulnerable, and she won't sacrifice her inner artist, just because she won't fit into Eurovision or might be compared to Billie Eilish. Victoria is just herself and won't change for glory or money. I love that!

They find a rly bad sickness to her father couple of monts ago so the video in the end of the song is her real family, when I heard that song and the fact i know the story I just cry. That song is for her father ❤...She is very very nice girl and singer. We are with u Vicky!❤Beautiful reaction! 🤗

If you're going to react to some of the Eurovision songs from 2020, I can strongly recommend Tears Getting Sober, by no one less than VICTORIA. I thought perfection didn't exist before I heard it, but it seems I was wrong.

I think this might be a dark horse in the competition. By being different and emotional, it might stand out. Anyway, there are so many good entries this year, I can't choose a single one to root for.
Totally agree, the majority demographic of eurovision doesn't have great taste. Not always the best produced song wins.. Victoria will be a star either way
You don't need cheese to do well at Eurovision. My favourite Eurovision songs are the slower meaningful ones. Portugal won with a slow, simple song Amar Pelos Dois

The title could have two different meanings; growing up is the same as getting old for one. The other being how we say that something is getting old when we are fed up with it and want it to stop. Probably intentionally both. It seems such a contemplative introspective song, not at all what you would expect from Eurovision. Two others taking a different road are Roxen with Amnesia - you already reacted - the other is Gjon's Tears -with Tout l’Univers, but try Destiny with Je me casse for Malta. Whether you like or loathe, always a pleasure to see you react (and you never loathe anyway)!

Wonderful reaction... The idea behind the music & video is also about the difficult experience of coping with her father’s diagnosis of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS... And that is the reason why she had a photo of her father and her on semi-finals.

Victoria was a singer in Bulgaria's X Factor 2015 song contest . Just watch her first audition . SHE'S AMAZING !!!!!
I understand why people compare her to Billie Eilish, but just don't think that's very fitting. To me she's more comparable to Avril Lavigne when she was singing some of her ballads. Absolutely love the timeless topic and the soft, yet powerful singing.

She doesn't remind me so much of Billie Eilish as Lana Del Ray, but with a higher vocal range and a bit more emotion. Romania's Roxen had more of a Billie vibe but her song this year doesn't carry that same similarity.
Probably a bit biased seeing I am bulgarian... but I have never had a song send so much shivers down my body every time I listen to it. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful the vocals on the song are amazing the best in euro vision this year same as the lyrics overall the best song . Unfortunately others didn’t think that in the competition.... our best audition yet and we come 11th.... gutted

I think this here is The Beatles influence, especially Lennon's, notice how this year this is the only track paying tribute to Liverpool's legends.

@@HonestVocalCoach If I had to put my finger on it, so to speak, I'd say it's those breathy yet high notes that I find grating -- it's almost as if she tries hard at sounding like someone else; her voice becomes much more expansive when she lets go and acquires genuine clarity. Another thing is I find it hard to suspense disbelief when hearing the lyrics -- isn't she too young to have experienced the "getting old" bit? I know, I must come across as downright curmudgeonly. 😄
By no means a bad song or performance, but one that just doesn't win me over. I have been known to be fickle, though, so...

I really, really don't like the song - I can't put my finger on why, but the hair on the back of my neck stands up - and not in a good way. It creeps me out and I can barely stand listening to it.
Maybe you have a fear or event that you have surpressed and it bring it out.
Growing old and death is too scary for most people. Learn to accept it and then you'll be ready for this song.

So tired of everyone trying to sound like Billy - same vowel modifications and staccato vs. legato mixes - its trendy and pretentious. Seems if you want to be considered ‘deep’ and a true ‘artist’ you need to copy this style. Nope.
Uh, so tired of comparisons... All eurovision artists sound " like" someone else this year except for Manizha. Most of the bookie favourites dont bring anything new. Victoria is a wonderful singer! Her style evolved so much though the years. Her voice is much softer and velvety. No comparison to Billie. Billie is not stable live most of the time and her voice is sharper.
@@ludoedica I don't think you can honestly say she doesn't sound like a plethora of other singers at the moment. It's not the quality of voice - its the musical choices/style (as I think I was quite explicit about above). It's forced and trendy. Strips her of originality - its her choice though.
