The art piece was golden because everytime you see it, it should remind you the basic goodness or purity in you despite all kinds of cloud like emotions (positive and negative) that veil you as a human. This is what Buddhists call Buddha (that face in the art piece). This is what Buddhists try to uncover through meditation. Good job!
There are 3 major ethnicities in Bhutan: 1. Ngalop 2. Nepali 3. Sharchop Ngalop and Sharchop have outright mongoloid features.. Whilst Nepalese can have either mongoloid or aryan faces. Half of Nepalis are mongoloid like guide Leela Darlami Magar, and the other half are aryan - like the one at the shop in this video.
Mr Davud is a very knowledgeful ,highly educated , dignified & peaceful person. I surprised to watch the streets & buildings of this town on the foot of hills. Roads are very neet. There are line drawn even in inside lanes also.

Yeah everything seems super expensive in Bhutan. In Nepal, same paintings and statues cost less than half those prices but still people call them scams

My son is a Pilot in the U.S. MARINE and he’s getting out on June this year and he’s going for Commercial Airline…He said he’s been communicating with Delta and United Airlines. These blanket are handmade but we bhutanese buy machine made blanke which is cheaper...but the one he bought i think he got scamed there, i dont think that was hand made in bhutan..

I worked before at qatar, mostly bhutanese and nepalese are very good and friendly. Tried also their food when they cooked and brought it at work. I liked also momo!
Those gifts are really expensive, I didn't notice much tourists and the large amounts the store owners are asking,got me thinking the villagers got to have good paying jobs in order to make a purchase in those stores.

There is mandatory guide thing so that nobody can talk or interview people freely about the Ethnic Cleansing. You can't talk about Ethnic Cleansing in Bhutan or Tibet, cuz a tour guide will hover around you all the time, in both places.
