    My dad was retired fishermen..when i was a little boy he worked his ass off earning money to make sure i get higher education..his dream was to see me as lawyer..hehe..back then fish price wasnt very good..he just dont want his children to follow his foot step,doing hard job to earn little money..but now,its been over 10 years i taking over his boat doing the same job he was doing despite having law degree.. 😂 because from where i came from,working as comercial fishermen nowadays especially if you have your own boat and you are the captain will give you big money..my father always said this.."i hope i knew back then that this job some day will put lots of food on the table and get you a nice car and house not like back in my time where we're considered poor if we have to do this job...now it feels like all the money i spent on your education got wasted for nothing..haha"

    They get some lovely clean crab on the south coast. Whoever thought of the roller system made a lot of fishermans back pain go away.

    That was a very interesting trip you took us all on there. I remember in the old days when there would be fishmongers in more or less all costal towns but nowadays it is almost impossible to find fresh fish straight out of the sea, unless you go and catch it yourself. I suppose it all goes to the big auctions nowadays, so maybe that is a video you might do in the future?

      What video?

    • @_J.F_
      @_J.F_ Рік тому +1

      @@TheFishLocker A video showing what happens between the fish are caught and they become for sale to the public was what I was thinking. Many fishing towns don't have fishmongers anymore so fresh fish is scarce and I suppose the supermarket version means a long delay and less fresh fish?

      @@_J.F_ - I showed a bit of that in the whelk video. I shall think about how I can do it in a future video.
