This song was written by their old drummer, The Rev (passed away December 2009) because the band asked him to make something absolutely nuts for the album they were working on. In turn, he came up with a song where a guy kills his girlfriend for denying his marriage proposal because he is obsessed with her, then she comes back from the dead to kill him. In hell he begs for forgiveness and she gives it to him and then they live happily ever after as a married zombie couple. The song itself, although is purely meant to tell a wicked story, is basically a love song. A really dark love song.

I’ve been a A7x fan for as long as I can remember, but for someone who don’t know rock and how dark it can be sometimes, this definitely ain’t a song to recommend 😂😂
This song is just a masterpiece. Once you start digging deeper (and go see their own breakdown of it!), it just opens up. It's a Bohemian Rhapsody of modern age.
If you want a more up to date story-driven Avenged Sevenfold song with less shock factor, you want Avenged Sevenfold - THE STAGE, its a damn masterpiece. From a metal fan to someone discovering it, i hope this finds you :)
Im late as hell but the drummer was a huge fan of Tim Burton & Nightmare Before Christmas things of that nature so he wrote this song in homage to him. It's about a man who was so scared that she would say no that he killed her before she had the chance to even get asked the question. He misbehaves with the corpse & she comes back for revenge now he feels bad so he vows to make it up to her & they decide to have a zombie wedding. The song is not supposed to be taken literally it's more so a musical masterpiece depiction of something Tim Burton would create. I actually heard Anthony Vincent's 33 style cover of this song first & fell in love with the beauty in the storytelling of this song. I recommend reacting to A little Piece of Heaven in 33 Styles. It's beautiful & in my opinion tells the story better emotion wise. I like the original song as well just hate the video. Great reaction
haven’t even watched the video but it’s gonna be fire. Love the idea of switching genres, makes a great reaction channel. Next reaction you should do dance with the devil by immortal technique, pleaseeee
The video basically means when your trapped in love"a little piece of heaven" it can make you do terrible things. Yes the video was a bit much but you gotta look past all the darkness. Ive been listening to avenged for a while now .
People take music so seriously they forget that it's an entertainment industry. Not every song has to have a message attached. Think of it like a horror movie, just enjoy it for what it is . Not all music is designed to inspire something.
Tbh my best friend loves avenged sevenfold and I've grown to love to hate on em just to be a dick lmao even though they're ight hahaha so cus of my pride... They're trash 🤣

Watching the lyrics push you away but then the musicianship and melody pull you in making you move was hilarious 😂 This is 100% shock value metal at its finest.
The song is about a love that you thought was going to last. It didnt work out the first time so you tried again and again and it just ended up being a shallow ghost of what could of been. Or in this case your heart is gone and your both trying to make it work as "living dead". Its totally symbolic.
Man I love your reactions, but I knew you werent ready for this before we even got into it. The video turned you off from the music well before it got a chance my man. Definitely check some more A7X though, I would suggest something like Coming Home or Unbound
That would be great, I believe that Killswitch is a band that he would end up enjoying a lot, same for Being As An Ocean, their older stuff is incredible (Waiting For Morning To Come was great as well)
A year late but someone should tell you this song is all about symbolism lol. It’s a fun song that’s more about the instrumentals and symbolic story telling. Everyone knows the feeling of “getting their heart ripped out.” This just intensifies that and puts it in a literal sense. Listen to this song again, but the Live in the LBC version! It’ll feel like a whole new world
you're taking the video a little to serious, the song is symbolic for hard relation ships and a message that love always prevails the lyrics and video try to make it the most extreme form though. but the message is supposed to be beautiful. you should definitely try a different song by them though like beast and the harlot or bat country
Avenged is my favorite band, i say trash too for the same reason you do. But you would be impressed by so many song from them. Seize the day Beast and the harlot Afterlife So Far away and many mores...

I’ve been a A7x fan for as long as I can remember, but for someone who don’t know rock and how dark it can be sometimes, this definitely ain’t a song to recommend 😂😂
@@MiloBazan This was literally the first song I heard from A7X, and I absolutely loved it, actually made me search for more of their music.
Mihai-Horatiu Torok maybe for you man, but like this dude don’t listen to rock bro
It was supposed to be the craziest song they could think of. Pure shock value
This song is just a masterpiece. Once you start digging deeper (and go see their own breakdown of it!), it just opens up. It's a Bohemian Rhapsody of modern age.
They deserve another chance, this is one of their darkest songs. Do Carry On next! Love and respect brother 👊🏻
Carry On gets so much flak but I love it. Sure it ain't their best but it's really good to jam to.
If you want a more up to date story-driven Avenged Sevenfold song with less shock factor, you want Avenged Sevenfold - THE STAGE, its a damn masterpiece. From a metal fan to someone discovering it, i hope this finds you :)
I’m dying 😂😂 whoever threw this at him is a terrible human but the reaction is priceless 😂 “am I seeing what I’m seeing” 😂
Avenged Sevenfold- so far away. This’ll be the exact opposite tone of this song
Alexis Gutierrez still find it difficult to listen to the song and watch the video😔
undeadfbgew I use to find it hard to hear too. Don’t worry with time all wounds will heal.
Alexis Gutierrez just breaks my heart. I’m glad i got to see them all together on stage🖤
undeadfbgew I never got the chance. I’m sure it was amazing tho
@@stepwise2765 I find the song funny as fuck. It's not a serious song at all
Seize The Day, Afterlife, and So Far Away. You'll forget all about this one.
Fire from the gods- excuse me
🔥🔥Fire af 🔥🔥
That would be insane if he checked them out
Brandon Janis he needs to along with backwordz (that’s the guys new band )
This song is definitely more his style, especially since it has hip hop elements
anthonybleakley1982 right? I really hope he sees it I think he would enjoy it
Not just that, shows the singers range in just one song.
Man you've just trashed a masterpiece
Avenged sevenfold is trash
Andrew Garcia No u
Tbh my best friend loves avenged sevenfold and I've grown to love to hate on em just to be a dick lmao even though they're ight hahaha so cus of my pride... They're trash 🤣
Andrew Garcia You’ve mostly redeemed yourself
Andrew Garcia tf
Your reaction had me rolling, dude I havent laughed this hard in a while.
I didn’t even get to read the title, I saw the thumbnail and I was like “I doubt they recommended this” 😩😩💀💀 I’m sorry you had to see this before you were ready 😂😂
Avenged Sevenfold Nightmare is better
Lmao, no.
They’re both good.
Watching the lyrics push you away but then the musicianship and melody pull you in making you move was hilarious 😂
This is 100% shock value metal at its finest.
WHAT?!?!?! This is is incredible on a musical and production level! Amazing for a band of their time!
yea, he literally trashing it cause of the video but musically it's one of their best songs
Of their time?
This is like 10 years old, can't be out here making me feel ancient with shit like that 😤😂
This is kind of an experimental song don't let this one shade your view of them they're actually a really good band
The song is about a love that you thought was going to last. It didnt work out the first time so you tried again and again and it just ended up being a shallow ghost of what could of been. Or in this case your heart is gone and your both trying to make it work as "living dead". Its totally symbolic.
And just a heads up this is actually one of avenge sevenfold's greatest songs
Man I love your reactions, but I knew you werent ready for this before we even got into it. The video turned you off from the music well before it got a chance my man. Definitely check some more A7X though, I would suggest something like Coming Home or Unbound
My man skipped straight to this😂 , should’ve started with afterlife, buried alive, gunslinger, doing time.
He just jumped to the final boss
This song gives them no justice lol definitely listen to any of their other songs.
Yo LayedBak, try listening to some Killswitch Engage songs
Album versions only though, the radio edits fall a bit flat.
Kill switch holy driver
That would be great, I believe that Killswitch is a band that he would end up enjoying a lot, same for Being As An Ocean, their older stuff is incredible (Waiting For Morning To Come was great as well)
LOVE Killswitch!!! I prefer Howard though as the lead, just personal preference I suppose
It’ll feel like a whole new world
One of the only reaction channels I'll watch.
Notification squad!
First comment lol
you're taking the video a little to serious, the song is symbolic for hard relation ships and a message that love always prevails the lyrics and video try to make it the most extreme form though. but the message is supposed to be beautiful. you should definitely try a different song by them though like beast and the harlot or bat country
He's not trying to be satanic he's just telling a story he even. Says that the song means nothing
@LayedBakDFR
This is actually one of my favorite songs by them. Pass
react to Avenged Sevenfold Afterlife pleasee but make sure its the full song
I'm not lying this is actually my favourite childhood song, been listening to it for years!
Damn that's some fire squad timing right there
Avenged is my favorite band, i say trash too for the same reason you do. But you would be impressed by so many song from them.
Seize the day
Beast and the harlot
Afterlife
So Far away
and many mores...
A7X has been in my top 3 bands for years and years, and honestly no idea why this song is liked so much.
BLeePrit same for me. But musically , not bad.
A7X has been my favorite band for so long. This song is one of the most creative and musically well written there is. While the ideas and story of the song are pretty dark it truly is a masterpiece in my opinion. Def not their best song but a classic imo.
I'll be honest, I just dont like early avenged sevenfold's vocals.
@@tylerbarrett5 this is not exactly early Avenged Sevenfold. This is off of their fourth album. They've made eight albums. Kinda middle of the road if you ask me.
It’s art... whether it sits well with you or not, it’s a masterpiece!!
Give them another chance. Little peice of heaven was basically just a fun wicked song for the album. I love them because some songs hit home. You should listen to Critical Acclaim or Stage or dear god.
I love how he casually calls A7x rock music like its aerosmith or something. no wonder he got all shocked at the content.
this song is one of their greats. some amazing old school A7x from when the rev was still around.
Jimmy will always said what was on his mind when it came to his work I’m so proud of him for everything he did
Listen to Avenged Sevenfold - “Carry On” or “Not Ready to Die”, you’ll love either of those, and they’re not weird like this one lol
Angel Vicente lol, it’s supposed to be like that.
I love my cousin Matt when he makes his songs he's just and literally we look just alike and sound almost the same!!!
I saw this in my recommendations and knew straight away he wouldn't like it. It's one of my favourites.
When yu see his face just watching skuleton musician while saying it's dark, but yu know it's not even started xD
We can critic the clip, but the song is a really great melody
Yo! He needs to react to avenged Sevenfold Nightmare!
This my favourite love song it’s so different from any typical love song
You've just trashed a masterpiece
ikr wtf
@@epiccheeseman42069 This song is an absolute work of art. It's fucked up, yes, but it's an amazing song. I love this song - it has so many layers.
@@epiccheeseman42069 just don't pay attention to the lyrics.
There's a story behind this song, and they achieved what they wanted to achieve in writing it - that's all.
@@epiccheeseman42069 This song is amazing. Not everyone is a Bieber fan (not that pop songs are always that good, with big second layers).
like bruh.....-___-
One of my favorite avengened sevenfold songs. Knew from the beginning you would trash it. Reminds me of the crazy clown scene from pee wees big adventure.
this is a masterpiece hard to find music like this nowadays
Whyd we want you to see it? One of the best music videos ever ❤️
Aight, who made my guy listen to this? Ease him into this.
Listen to:
"Fly on the Wall" by Thousand Foot Krutch
A band you haven't reacted to and I think you'll love
TFK is a good pick. Would love to watch him react to TFK.
Story telling it was story telling he loved her she dident love him back he went crazy he killed her she came back from the dead killed him he came back from the dead begged her for her forgiveness and they got married.
10/10. I am a huge fan of this song. Know it word for word.
Bring me the horizon: Heavy Metal. Love that song.
All songs by BMTH are trash.
Get into some disturbed. Save our last goodbyes is a good one by them I know you'll like
Are you ready is great too
yo that song hits hard...would make for a good reaction
Honestly any song by disturbed would be awesome
The first song from them I heard, I was a kid and didn't know english well so I loved the song without knowing the lyrics
