It always sounds a bit off when you randomly hear the middle of it and from somebody else. But if you wear headphones and notice every little detail on the background and stuff... man it sounds so cool. This kind of nice metal always gives me the vibe of something that is really old and great, yet it always feels so fresh
tbh I wasn't very on board with this song when i first heard it. I'm not musically knowledgeable to properly explain why, but it kinda felt a little too repetitive and didn't go as hard as I hoped it would? But also maybe that's due to my lack of exposure to pop metal, and after hearing you gush about that genre I think I'm gonna explore it myself! The song is definitely growing on me as I listen to it more though, so maybe I'll end up loving the song in the end after all.
I'd say poke around the electronicore scene if you're interested. Some are stronger than others, but the net is pretty wide. Celldweller, Blue Stahli, even some of Babymetal and Bring Me The Horizon's stuff fits in that category. Most people's gateway recently has been Electric Callboy. Mine was Celldweller in the late 00s😂

Love how the voice is kind of "subtle" but the instruments are going ham. Also, it might be corny, but I absolutely love the parallelism with the original CC#1 (Operation Pyrite), the previous being "BURN ME TO THE GROUND!" shouting their lungs out, and this one being "Can't burn us down!" in a more subtle and growl-ly manner. Idk, I like it.
Thai McGrath did the vocal singing part. I genuinely love his channel and what he does and was so surprised when I saw this uploaded and that he was the one singing it.

for me music is alway about feel and emotion, so not only is the sound important, the lyrics need to feel meaningful, and considering i know next to nothing about the lore, the lyrics manage to hit super hard and spark all sorts of emotions, with the music really conveying it. this is why i was always a rock guy, Alterbridge being my main band of choice. but goddamn if this silly moibile game hasn't completely changed my genre preferences somehow. Excellent stuff out of arknights as always. amazing lyrics, amazing music, and fantastic vocal performance.
