This movie has been my favorite since i saw it in 2015. I revisit it whenever I’m feeling aimless or if I’m having a difficult time with work or family. It’s helped get me through so much, I’m very young, I turn 20 in a couple months. But I genuinely don’t think I’d be here without this movie, thank you Ben. And to whoever reads this comment which I doubt anyone will, life sucks and it is really hard. But it’s the people around you that make it worth living, it’s the risks you take, the adventures you embark on that make tomorrow exciting. So don’t give up, not yet
This is my favorite movie, and I like it more each time I see it. What sticks with me the most is that Sean (the photographer) is Walter's hero, so it would seem like Walter would really wish to be more like Sean, and less like his boring self... I can relate to that... But then the whole thing with the cover picture, it's like Sean is affirming the beauty of Walter's life, a man who is dedicated to doing his work excellently, even though he's not in the limelight and most people would never know what he does. In that way Walter is just like the ghost cat that is beautiful and majestic in its own being, whether or not there is anyone else there to admire it. Thank you, Ben Stiller, for this beautiful piece of art.
I love this adaptation, not just the writing and the acting, but the direction, esp. of the cinematography. The shots, especially those on location, were awesome. Well done, Ben!
One of my absolute favorite movies of the year, and one of the very few to truly grab me and make me examine my life and where I am in where I choose to be within it. I thought it would be good, but I had no idea how much it would affect me. A truly impactful movie.
Saw the movie for the first time just recently. I love it more every time I watch it. The most perfect ending of any movie I've ever seen. Perfect. Yeah, it's not the original story, which still exists on its own and always will!
Great movie and soundtrack. I hadn't heard Major Tom and I had to put that on repeat for an hour one day. Sean Penn was so good in this role. Class all the way. "Beautiful things never ask for attention." Sean O'Connell. Kathryn Hahn is such a talented actress and always is entertaining.
I love the movie... Ben Stiller you made this movie so perfect... even African American loved it; very understandable and people who have dreams and can't go or not possible... it is like a fresh breath... it is so cool. A stoic man in a way but a normal person... everybody have this imagination. Love Ben Stiller being an underdog but turn out to be good. the final of Walter Mitty is so cool. Were inspired. especially the skateboarding.... my children are borders (they are adults-- they still have their skates (snowboard and surfboards).
It was funny how Mitty in this movie was very careful to get the language right when he went to Iceland and then he meets the helicopter pilot who butchers the language when he calls the ship he's flying out to the erkuhshnerk.😆
As much as I love Zoolander, Walter Mitty is Ben’s best film. One of my personal favourites
Zoolander was satire, Walter Mitty was sincere art
I don't care what the critics say. This is one of the best movies I've watched.
Also Tropic Thunder was amazing
I agree. I introduced a friend to it last night, and shared your sentiment.

I resonated with the last part of your comment
Same! I very much agree with the part that is about living. I rewatched it 2 days ago which reminds me of the adventure within the ordinary.
I agree, good luck with your life my friend
read this comment, brought me to tears man. inspiring others and taking on adventure is why i’m here too, and what this movie means to me

I saw it many times in a short period of time. Loved it more each time and that to me tells me it’s a great film (at least to me).

One of my all-time favorite movies.

I left my job after watching it
I felt the same way man
Amazing film. Massively underrated. It’s one of those movies that hits different as you get older.
Amazing movie, Ben Stiller did an awesome job. Great story and cast..
When I decided to leave my homestate for the first time it was because of this movie. Going on an adventure and making memories! Thank you Ben!!
What a soundtrack! And the cinematography!

Thank You, Ben Stiller🙏🏼
It seems like a movie anyone could’ve made... but only Stiller had the heart for it.
And it’s beautiful. Need more of these kinds of characters.
Cinematography was awesome
Insightful and talented story teller , and actor! Give this man his accolades! @oscars Severance is soo good!
Best Movie I have seen based on the impact it had on me. Right up there with shawshank on being a optimistic movie that delves into the human spirit.
Isn't there a Walter Mitty in each one of us?
Just because it's not on Instagram doesn't mean it didn't happen-
That is deep.
man…
Thanks for making such a marvellous creation

Good movie
"Like sending coals to Newcastle" means 'as if' you're sending "apples to an orchard";
that's where they come from, they already have a lot.
good stuff!
Srk
But why?
Walter Mitty its the Truman Show of millenials generation...
You ruined a classic.
How so?
Remakes will rarely live up to the originals but hey at least they didnt go Red Dawn2 on Mitty.
You have no emotional connection to film.
I'm a Danny Kaye fan, loved his version, AND I love this version as well.
Classic gave birth to another classic
