- so we have weaned our baby pigeons from our breeding boxes into our small pigeon loft and our pigeon pair have laid more eggs!

Yeah I do really enjoy my pigeons the actually pets for me and then sometimes I might race them it's just very enjoyable to have them they're very smart birds and all got different characters and I like to watch them fly

Yeah I think once they stuck in breathing and there's no stopping them definitely need to focus on breeding more of the better quality birds maybe I might have to try some fostering just to increase the numbers of them in the team
Hi Kurt, the babies look awesome and are pleased that Storm laid her eggs. Can we see lil Storms babies closer. Is the Pied Cock and Hermans hen paired up. It looks like it.

Looking good Kurt, you're starting to produce some more quality pigeons in the loft. Those two pairs (Leo & the Big Boy) are very good parents...very dedicated.
Yeah I'm definitely happy that I did pay the money to buy some good birds I will try and get some more in the future maybe next year so I'm ready for the following breeding season I definitely want to have a decent breeding off with some good Birds in it

Yes I want to but I'm just holding off a little bit longer I don't want anyone to head out there and steal them because I know that the place is pretty easy to find
My experience says there won't be two chicks coming from big leo.most probably you'll get one chick

How to keep baby pigeons warm in the winter
The babies in the loft kept kept warm by their mothers and the babies that I hand raise they generally keep it himself warm enough I don't get cold Winters here so cold generally is no issue for me it's the heat

I just find them on Gumtree and then get someone to send them over to me but Adam does have one barless but no one's for sale if you go onto the Facebook Australian coloured racing pigeons you can try and find someone there I know there is a guy called Sam that has some good ones I brought before him not racing quality but it's good just to start off with the gene of barlis and then you can turn into racing quality

Do you breed all year round
No normally I just breed late winter to Spring but when I'm doing colour projects I will breed all year round if I change pairs here in there just to speed up the breeding process of a special colour
@@ManeyPigeons the beauty of living in Australia and especially Perth like you do is that the winters aren't that cold so you can breed all year round.
