Last year I went to a sale and bought a camo backpack for five bucks. Just looked in the big part and said I’d take. When I went home, the pockets were filled with lures! I went back to the sale and told the guy I’d give him more bc of everything that was in the small pockets, he said don’t worry about it! He said “ go catch some fish and keep the fishing spirit alive”! Guy was in his 80’s. Some of the stuff I pulled out was over 40 years old and I’m still using the lures! Keep it up brother! Good video!

Giving that old fisherman a tip is not a big deal, it's really cool as a matter of fact. He provided you with information and you got to see another guy's stash of lures. Plus he seems to be very knowledgeable about fishing. The last lure, the shiny gold one, looks like a tucan head.

But I can honestly say I know at least 3-4 solid spots that are terrible now, people taking bass home, leaving trash. And just overfishing locations.
RipFpsDoug I can see that happening. Now it’s clear and says of you want it public and stuff like that. I fish many private spots so I don’t have that issue.
Remember to set the tension knob to accordingly to every lure, start out with the brakes on high to halfway, and most importantly be patient since backlashes happen even to the most experienced

Fun video. That homemade lure looks like a current Flatfish lure. A Bluepike was the smaller cousin of the Walleye. Bluepike were extremely sought after in Lake Erie up until the late 1950s. Now they are extinct.

If you have a baitcaster just look up some tutorials that’s what I did I just got my first about a week or two ago

Go coarse fishing around 6pm and float fish (idk if you can do that with a bait caster ) and remember to plum the depth
