After watching all these videos it looks like Troyan is a straight jerk. He's so competitive that he takes the spirit out of the games. He celebrates before he gets the victory, he cuts off people (josh bridges) on the burden run, I don't see him going around encouraging others much. He just doesn't act like a champion which is why he didn't make the podium.
He's an asshole, yes. But the reason he doesn't make the podium is because he does extremely well in a few events and bombs the rest. Personality aside, his gaping holes in his skills speak for themselves.
