I'm at 1400 mmr and played against a 1900 mmr player last night with aggressive balls. Balls just off the line with crawlers behind on each side. Typhoons or badgers were added for chaff clear and wasps to give him another problem. I managed to take 3 significant rounds from him in the mid-game before the difference in skill levels showed through as we got to round 8/9/10. He messaged me later with a few tips; telling me I punched well above my weight and had him worried. I've been had a breakthrough in my skill level as I've jumped 300mmr in a week. I try to follow Rat's rules. Watch some of my replays (especially the losses) and watch videos like these and it's made a big difference.
Not many people know this but when i was abducted by aliens back in 2004, the "visitors" dropped me off in rural finnland 9 days later without the ability to speak or walk backwards. It was actually Surrey who saved my life. I was being chased down by a pack of hungry wolves when Surrey charged in out of nowhere wielding 2 battle axes while riding a moose thus saving my life. He then over the next month he taught me how to speak again, walk backwards, hunt wild forest crocodiles and how to make a camp fire from snow. All the while he was building me a giant wooden klog to sail home in, which i did and is why i'm alive today to tell the tale
Balls are so strong now with everyone picking tarantula starts. I just hit 2k mmr and I've been taking steel balls almost every game, even with fangs sometimes
The only games I ever either won, or came close to winning against people with 1900+ mmr are games where one of my main units were steel balls. Funnily enough a couple times the specific combo of Typhoons with shield tech + steel balls with range seemed to have a ton of momentum behind them to win a game. Other than that I almost always lose to ya'll 1700+ rated people.
I think the AM tech on the Mustang is not a good pairing if you also have range on them, it makes them stay further back and thus intercept less. If you don't get the range they'll die to arcs and other stuff though.
Aswell as being a dating coach, yoga instructor, hair stylist, professional chef, helicopter pilot, maths teacher, tribal chief and a amazing kisser. Yeah suppose so

like them a lot, not as a starter though. Or if you level round one and get heavy armor round 2 they are definitely S tier starter :D
