Jayson is one of my favourite dyers to follow. Often imitated, but never duplicated. So much to comment on with this interview. It seems that every five minutes I want to step in and add my two cents. I can relate to Jayson’s risk aversion, experience selling more cookies than discs at a tournament, and reluctance to use social media (ie Facebook) to sell discs. I have hours of video dyeing discs with the idea of making reels, but I rarely take the time to edit and/or post.
Imperfection is the part that makes his discs beautiful and organic and natural looking. His video on TDIDI is amazing. Can’t wait to try out and some of his techniques and style. If anyone does have a record player recommendation please post. That pencil/Quip trick looks awesome.
Thanks Jayson for sharing some trade tips...I think you taught me....thru TDIDI !!

In terms of other sports incorporating art… board sports, boating maybe, and I know people dye/dip fishing poles 👍
