Mt. SAC Artist in Residence Series 2024 AU.THENTICITY Dance Company

Mt. San Antonio College Dance Department hosted a Masterclass with dance company, AU.THENTICITY. A company that reinvigorates our artistic perspectives through our unique identity as an artist and as a human. As a founder who identifies as a first generation Asian American queer woman, Azuki Umeda provides performance opportunities to emerging artists and hopes to use her platform to open up about her identity. Through art she aims to inspire other Asian folx to amplify their voices and generate awareness and empathy.
