An entire playthrough of World 9, including all the star coins and secret exits. In order to get all five shiny stars, I had go and use the six warp cannons I unlocked earlier. Did that between 9-7 and 9-8!

I still remember how I completed almost everything in the game by myself, except for that fucking 9-7 level, in that level i needed that my little brother played with me, so he could keep dying collecting the star coins while I stayed alive.

Hiperfelix 64 level 9 -7 is classed as one of the most difficult levels to complete out of every single mario game. It's no surprise you can't beat it.
I grew up on this game. Me and my friend, who is like a sister to me, would play this game every day. I remember how excited we were when we beat bowser.

Fun fact: During the development of NSMBWii, after beating world 8, Peach was gonna be a playable character but the player movement would screw up her dress model, so that stuff got scrapped. But DANG that would’ve been neat to play as Peach!

I remember getting to this world when I was around 6, I felt so accomplished and I still have never beaten all the levels. I still have my old red Wii and I still play it from time to time. Brings back memories

The second star coin is easy to take but after that sometimes I fall down between the 2 pipes.

As a kid, this was the first Mario game I sunk endless hours into. A playground rumor I heard all the time was abt world 9 and the final level having a bullet bill that takes up the whole screen, and it’s near impossible to dodge.
Seeing the climax of the Mario movie being set up by the Banzai Bill, followed with an insane chase sequence, had the inner child within me going ballistic

I remember this game so vividly, it's crazy. I remember playing on my red wii with my brother almost every night an making him get me out of the bubble 😂. I wish more consoles these days provided the pure fun that the wii console did.
World 9 for my opinion is the best of them. There are so many things from other world that are mixed on a same level, and the amount of effort you have to put on these levels is insane. Rn I’m in world 9-5. I was stuck in 9-4 for about 4 hours just trying to get all star coins (especially that bellow the pipe and the piranha plant frozen pipe) I’m planing to try finishing 9-8 in the first try getting all star coins. This game was my childhood, and after almost 7 years playing it ( sometimes I just stopped playing bcz I had school and stuff + I couldn’t pass a world and stuff… *I got stuck in world 3 for about 2 years bcz I couldn’t pass level 1 💀) it’s finally pleasing to see I’m finishing it. P.S: I’m still playing on my good ol’ Wii, no emulator 💪😼.
As much as I love playing this game, I don’t think I’d have the patience to replay 9-7
