These levels are actually kind of sick, but also insanely hard. Pendulum castle gives me chills to this day…
it took me two hours to get all the dam coins on the level run for it
me and my sister struggled so much with it lol, especially when getting the coins
how it should be! im tired of these games being easy

@@Banana-vu3rf I didn't. It was not that hard. I failed 3 - 4 times bc I missed a star coin or a p-switch.
Pendulum castle was way harder. Took me almost 2 hours to finish.

I completed this game thinking it was hard, but now I am playing Luigi U and this seems pretty easy now

so i spent many lives and hours on pendulum castle, just for a normal level
It wasn’t worth was it
Ngl the castle level should have had a boss at the end
re discovering the game after 6-7 years I still have muscle memory on that level because I probably played it so much
i spent 6 months on it
It only took me 2 attempts
World 9-8 is just torture for me, each time I do it, I end up falling to death no matter how careful or quick I tried to do it.

It only took me 2 attempts and got all star coins in that 2nd attempt
Quick tip for those playing on the switch, on some of the harder levels like fire bar cliffs, use nabbit to run through the level and collect all the coins then come back through with your regular character to get the full completion
We found this out too, super upvote this. Nabbit is such a hack 😅

Superstar Road is pretty much a variation of one level from the game
Level 1: RCM 6 with World 1 background
Level 2: P-Switch Dash with World 2 background
Level 3: Underwater cheep cheep and urchin cave
Level 4: Ice Caverns with hammerswings
Level 5: Spinning platforms over poisonous waters with ghost house music
Level 6: Hidden Fire bars in Rock Candy Mines
Level 7: Lakitus with swinging platforms
Level 8: World 8’s Castle with Giant swinging spikes
Level 9: A level that requires mainly a shell and a mushroom
Whoever is trying to get all the star coins on the world 9 good luck! You’re gonna need it on the world 9-8…

I finally completed it.... But there wasn't anything special at the very end. Some confetti or rainbow streak would've been nice for the congratulations message at least 😒

I was able to clear Pendulum Castle in under an hour and get the 3 coins! Years of Mario platforming games has finally paid off for me :)
The giant fish in level 3 sounds like he’s trying to spit out a loogie whenever he tries to eat mario

I completed this game 100% & got all the star coins in the game so i can mark it off my bucket list now and at least you don't have to fight Dry Bowser & Giant Dry Bowser But i think that Super Star - 9 is a pretty easy level & some of them are pretty hard

I like how 9-9 is a more relaxed final level designed more to thank you for playing than test your skills.
If you landed a second sooner on the first one, you would even get time bonus! 😱
I almost had an anxiety attack while playing Pendulum Castle, no jk.
I ended up shivering, sweaty, and my face tingling. ☠️
And all that for an easy level? 💀
At least in Mario Wii, the last level, after that horrendous 9-7 level, greets you a fun and challenging level with coin image patterns, trampolines, and King Bills. The last level should’ve been fun, but with a more unique challenge. It was kind of boring, since you wait for the shell to do about its business.

New super Luigi U had a more satisfying and rewarding final level then this.
The run level was hard but figured it out with the music pattern. Had to be flawless

grab the starcoins in every level of a world and you'll unlock a level
There are also secret levels that are VERY hidden (except peaches castle - 2) so look up those

So I was just close to finishing the last island before getting the final star level and had a save error and lost all my star collection progress. Safe to say I broke that switch game in half and watched this to see the dumb you completed the star challenge. Fuck you nintendo for not auto saving
