XMAS CHALLENGE DAY 5! Mario Golf Xmas Invitational Challenge | Tournament of Champions 2022

- Welcome to the TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS! This year's Xmas Challenge combines both Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra for 15 DAYS of nail-biting head-to-head challenges, with Andy, Ellen, Jane, Luke and Mike scrabbling to be crowned the ultimate 2022 cross-channel champion of champions.
DAY 5 brings us the Mario Golf Xmas Invitational, a prestige golf challenge in which Jane and Luke must complete 5 holes of snowy golf in the fewest strokes possible to bring home an Xmas point. Will Luke continue his run of form in Mario Golf Super Rush, or will Jane snatch the win with beginners' luck? Watch and find out!

Ellen versus Andy tomorrow and then Mike against everyone in turn four days in a row. Here's hoping.
Picking the names from a hat, and moreover two hats makes no sense. Mike has some catching up to do
Since they've only faced each other once so far. Possible options left are Jane v Mike, Luke v Mike, Andy v Mike or Ellen, and Ellen v Mike.
So tomorrow might actually be Andy v Ellen and then it's all up to Mike who wins.
Sacrifices to the RNG gods must be made! Appease them, and I'm sure Mike will get a shot!
Mike is too powerful. No one dares to challange
The last five days are going to be Mike playing by himself, winning points no matter how well he does.
This is what we in the gaming space call “a pro gamer move”.

My Dad will only ever play golf video games with us kids ever since I was little so golf games have a special place in my heart, even at age 40 and my dad is 70 we still play golf games. Everybody golf is the best in my opinion.

just a tiny suggestion for next year, it could be a 12-day challenge where the matchups are pre-decided and the challenges are the ones drawn from the santa hat 🤶🏻🎅🏻🎄
There are 5 of them though so they can't do 12 days unless a few of the challenges have 3 people involved. It has to be 10 or 15.

I can't believe Shigeru Miyamoto personally teleported to the course and used his mind powers to stop Jane's ball just short of the hole not once, but twice. And then took all the servers offline so that Luke wouldn't get any funny ideas about playing more in the future. Not a man to be trifled with, that one.

Jane all you have to do is see what Luke does, apply the shooting method of solving ODEs and using a rootfinding method to find the optimal start point

I think it'd be more fun to have all OXTRA members do the same type and amount of challenges. More fair and more fun IMO.

So the wins for each person are:
Andy 2/2. Ellen 2/2. Jane 0/3. Luke 1/3. Mike 0/0.
Andy and Ellen are leading the tournament with the maximum wins each. But Mike is yet to have a challenge, anything could happen.

The game is trying to teach me how to play it, and I refuse- pretty much how I approach every game. 😊
