That RS200 is gonna be a crazy one. Can't wait to see that
I was thinking the same
Ah. Makes me think of ken😢
I had the opportunity to drive a typhoon when I was 19 yrs old and im 51 now. I will never forget the experience til the day I die . It was so much fun.
Great job Larry. Kudos brother
I get that feeling everytime I drive mine. I have a 1992.
OMG WOW!! I had one in 1995 when I was a senior in high school! I bought it from the original owner who was a dentist I paid $7,500 for it, and it had 5,900 miles! I sold it a year later because it was not fast enough for me (what an a-hole I was)!! I then purchased a 1987 t-type that was an 11 second car, in the mid 90’s it was the quickest car on the street! 😎. Love all your videos Larry!!! 💪💪
Surprised when Renan speaks in portuguese hahaha! Bring him more, Larry!
Greetings from Brazil! Nice job!
Had a buddy(passed in 2016) that had 3 of them. One was a slightly modded unit, one lost compression and i put an engine in it, and one was a 16k Mile example. I also worked at GMC when those were new and worked on them and the typhoon. Fun and fast trucks.
That's outstanding, honestly. The Syclone is such a dope vehicle.
Love this generation of trucks. My first car was a black ‘93 S10 with Camaro wheels and the longest clutch pedal ever made by the auto industry. I miss that truck.
Same. Mine was a 92”. I about washed the paint off it. I’d give anything to be 16 again
Had a 91 and Two 92 was a awesome truck always wanted one of these tho
Larry’s so good at detailing even his polishing pads come out perfect
I feel like black cars look the best on the before and after.. That cyclone is a straight beauty
How could someone not drive a vehicle as fun as that 😅 wild
Maybe they thought it was a hoopty lol
Masking the cladding on that truck was a great call. The fender cladding for the Sy/Ty’s are unobtainium. Such cool trucks, great work as always Larry!
Can't wait for the next video on the iconic Ford RS200. 😊
More rare than most ferrari's!!! Love it !!!❤
Those 90s GM trucks were beautiful.
Brings back so many memories. For my first vehicle, my dad helped me buy three S-10 chassis trucks (including a 1992 Sonoma), and we pieced together one working truck out of the 3. I ended up keeping the frame of the 1988 S-10, the interior of the GMC and the motor from the 1983 long bed S-10. The lines and design of this GMC are glorious. Thanks for the this lovely time capsule, Larry!
Woooo, can't wait for the RS 200 ! 😁
Awesome truck. I picked up my 93’ typhoon in november. One of only 115 made with the color combination. So far, it has a rebuilt original turbo with stronger internals for more boost, bigger injectors, chip tuning, built transmission and corvette ZR1 Sawblade wheels. Over 100k miles with original paint and the car is like new upside and under. Very Happy!
What's the 0-60 like now?
And the 1/4 mile time?
@@mantis_toboggan_md 0-60 is about 4.3 seconds…I am not sure about the 1/4 mile because the closest track to me is 8 hours away. Hoping to test this summer
@@DrangeDragRacingTeam1967 Nice. That's quite the improvement over stock.
These were mythical when I was a kid. This and the typhoon.
The Brazilian guy commenting was surprising! Very nice! Love this channel!
10:49 Nossa, aqui ficou, ficou limpinho viu. 🇧🇷
do nada kkkkkkkkkk
Brasilll
BR dominando o mundo! 😅
Depois do "Que delícia" o que mais me surpreende e a quantidade de BR no vídeo
Acho que isso nem é português, é "mineirês" 😅
10:51 Nossa! Ficou limpinho viu!
Man this channel is so great. Obviously there's some advertising for their own products. But it feels like this is much more about teaching people and maybe selling a couple products along the way.
For as much of an expert as this guy is. It never comes across as pretentious or anything like that at all. Just a guy who loves cars and wants to share that with the world. You gotta respect channels like that. Just pleasant to watch.
Simply amazing! I remember when these trucks came out. I wasn't much of a truck guy at the time (Now I drive a Ram Rebel) but I have always been a speed and power guy. Looks fantastic Larry!
What year? I have a 2020. Love it
@@imathreat209 I have a 2019. Best truck I've ever owned.
Think my heart skipped a beat when I saw the car for next episode 🤯
Always love your videos Larry. You are the epitome of pride in workmanship!
Thanks for watching!
@@AMMO-NYC You are welcome. I have been watching your channel for a while. I am not a detailer but I really appreciate your passion, hard work and enjoy cars and the topic of detailing. I just bought a new Tesla and I am going to ask my detailing to throw some Ammo Reflex Pro on there! 👍
beautiful work as always Larry! The before and after is literally night and day, and always super informative. I look forward to next weeks upload!
That truck ruined me and my 5.0 at a stoplight during Spring Break back in the day. I still have the 5.0 and the scars from that experience. Another great lesson about the dangers of single stage paint. Well played Larry!
hahah nice
I remember going to look at one in the showroom. The dealer said it had been sold but gave me a brochure. I still have that lol. Speaking of compressed air, the owner needs to get out and enjoy putting a few turbocharged miles on it.
Fabulous work, Larry!
And what an icon of a super-truck!
This kind of black single stage paint is a really amazing sight for your eyes. That beast needs to go on the road as fast as possible, it's so cool i love it❤
This is awesome. When I was a kid, a friend's dad had a Typhoon and it was so cool. A lot of nostalgia in this video for me.
Love the Sunday therapy!
When I had my Typhoon I did the same with the tape. Never knew what to use on the cladding, I just cleaned it and left it alone. Now looking for another one and this video was very helpful. Thank you.
This video brings me back. I had a 92 GMC Sonoma back in high school. 4.3L Vortec V6/700R4/RWD/Reg cab. Obviously it was no Syclone, but it was quick, especially for that time. I sold it in 1998 and still miss that truck.
Its unbelievable how TINY these trucks are when you see them today.
Kudo's to the owner keeping this under wraps for SO long! Pretty cool.
I like them better than today's behemoths
@@onlyrog5 I concur.
THE BEST DETAILER on UA-cam! Period! Keep these awesome and very informative videos coming. We love it!
What a cool piece of GM history. Great work on this Syclone Larry! It looks way better.
10:51 meu deus, tem brasileiro em tudo que é lugar! kkkkkkkk
That anniversary Countach in the background gonna make me act up!
I’ve wanted a master blaster for a long time. Just bought my dream car, black R8 V10 and after seeing this promo, I finally bought mine! Used the code and it worked! Super excited, thanks! Will also be ordering more exterior and wheel regimens!
Larry, I know you don’t do a lot of trucks with bed covers, but adding a little heat from the Master Blaster will help ease the install
Nice! I love watching your videos
This one goes to Renan...
Espetáculo irmão! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎
and as Usual, great job Larry 👍👍👍👍😍😍
Wow the most amazing detail channel on here ! Super knowledgeable on the buffing wheel man !!!
Happy Days the Syclone is here!!! Great episode!
Another fantastic video Larry - my only critique is that I wish it was longer 😂😂
Nice work Larry! You never fail to impress!
OMG!! Is that a Red 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition in the back?? 🤯🤯😩🔥
😎 Nice RS 200 Larry hope you get the chance to drive a bit if you fit in It, nice episode
Perfect upload time! Was debating washing my car but i have no choice now lol.
THAT RED COUNTACH WILL FOREVER BE MY FAVORITE CAR 🥰🥰
They Found one of the Best Detail Guys in the World to Get this Truck Ready For Show..😄
My first vehicle that I owned was a 94 Chevy S10. The color was raspberry and I sported that color like it was COOL. I loved that truck. 4 cycling beast and stick shift.
The sun is your friend when putting on truck bed covers with snaps.
I can’t get enough of this channel. I was once a detailer.
Such a beautiful 90s truck.
Man when single stage is corrected the right way it just glistens it reminds me of the old lacquer finishes! Today’s paint there’s so much orange peel in the paint and I think manufactures do that to hide imperfections in body panels…. Here in Sacramento I just saw a beautiful LC 500 and that car from the factory has hardly any orange peel the manufacturing paint process for that car is amazing.
Another great detail Larry! Happy Easter!
Fantastic work preserving this amazing truck Larry! Love the shots in this one!!!
Nice to know that Renan is a Brazilian! Judging by his accent, I'd say that he is from Minas Gerais!
Late upload for Australia but I’m here for it
Um brasileiro no rolê. Gostei.
Nice Countach in the back ground!!
Larry why are you teasing us with that gem outside you did a great job on the syclone she looks brand new once again a perfect job
Great job Larry couldn't help noticing the rs 200 parked outside &when you introduced it at the end roll on next week have a great weekend Jon
Fudgen gorgeous!! I always liked the cyclone.
You can just tel Larry loves his job and cars for every car like it a hyper car.
The RS200 has been my favorite car since I was little. I still have my original Matchbox of it which was my secret weapon against my cousin, nothing was as fast as that car, and I've been in love with them all my life. If I hit the lotto tomorrow I'd be going to buy one straight away. Actually two. One to treat right, and then one of those clones that I can just go thrash sideways through the trees for fun.
Love GMC
Outstanding work! What a beautiful machine.
I miss this truck along with the GMC Typhoon. Those were quick back in the day.
Great video as always! Super cool car!
I had a Typhoon and I loved it so much. 😢
One of my all time favorite trucks. I’ve always wanted one. Loved seeing such a pristine example
Certainly shows the low aqua kitty of GM's production. When the paint is different on every panel! LOL! Great job guys
The other unicorn is that RS200 😮
Two of my dream garage vehicles. in one video.
Ammo you've done it again!!! That truly is a black beauty now thanks to your expertise and many years of pro cleaning wisdom!!! Phenomenal job good sir!!!!
First time I ever burned paint was on a Typhoon. I was a 16 year old porter at a GMC dealership in 1997. I let the pad briefly run over that ridge right in the middle of the hood and bam, right down to the primer.
I've used the Data Vac by Metro at work and it's a great tool. Cleaned over 400 PCs that had about 4 years of built up dust in them.
Yes! Really limpinho indeed!
Great work as always! Happy easter Larry e feliz Páscoa Renan 🎉
Nice job Larry especially the flat pad technique
Thanks, TEAM AMMO….. great work…. Rare GMC ( at least)…. Anyways, interestingly, my 2007:GMC Canyon SL was my first “ TRUCK” purchase,& a daily Driver: do kind of dream about a new Syclone, etc……..
I want to say there was a man in Camden Maine that had the cyclone version. He kept it very clean and loved that truck
Okay.....can't wait for the Ford RS200. The Syclone is awesome too! It'd be great to have back to back RS200 and an Focus RS or Merkur XR4ti.
Thank god someone actually made the effort to store this gem properly and not let mice infest it.
I love those Syclones. I've seen one in person but it had way more miles than the one you worked on. I've seen a few Typhoons in the wild as well. One had a turbocharged LS swap making over 800 HP to all wheels. Never got to hear it run, but it was on an information poster next to the vehicle.
I shipped that Syclone for Kevin back in 2018 he bought from Illinois if that’s the right one I’m sure it is not many 91 Syclones with no miles around.! Beautiful work bud
That came out absolutely beautiful.
Love the sound track while B rolling. Nice!
I have number 1273 with 64k miles on it. Shout out from Big A. Cartersville Ga.
MUITO TOP MANO !!! VAMOS PRA CIMA !!!!
Amazing video this week. Love these trucks!
I test drove one with my dad when i was 17. I tried so hard to convince him we should get it, that it was a practical family car...
Great work on GMC, would be waiting for the second one
That's the video I was waiting for
Thanks, it is really informative video
Love it
Scary watching you drive that on the highway with the original tires on it.
what a super cool body style. And to have such low miles and be kept in almost mint condition? Incredible.
Great truck! Loved my 92’ S10 single cab
Beautiful work
Not only are your videos entertaining but so informative as well. I truly appreciate your sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. And seeing a beautifully detailed car is the cherry on top ‼️
Thank you Larry 👍✌️☮️
I appreciate that!
