Thanks for this great speech, Rabbi. I just want to add that muslims do not think that Jews copied quran. In fact, Quran states that Torah was sent by Hashem/Allah. (Maide:44) It is the same word that our Creator revealed to the world, including the original Gospel.
As a muslim, we don't follow other ritual or culture. We just follow our scripture which is authentic and preserved since our prophet time. We don’t claim that jews copied the Quran, rather in our scripture we found many things about jews. And we don’t heed to any other person who said bla bla bla if his speech is not according to our scripture, he may pretend he is one of our scholar but we just refute him unless he doesn’t follow our scripture. You quoted a bunch of things from other people without any proof as we always want proof if anyone says anything. As you mentioned we pray five times a day, you elucidated that we want to do more that jews, it is totally false. We don’t take anything from other religion and compare to them who is better. Rather we follow only our scripture which is Quran and Sunnah what prophet said. According to our scripture, prophet asked Allah to reduce prayer times so that it wouldn’t a burden for us. From fifty times it was reduced to five times a day. Even we don’t read other religious books to take anything, however, it is not prohibited to read. We know our religion is totally complete and preserved without any fabrication. We don’t change anything in our religion.
It is true that jews and muslims are pretty similar according to our faith.
Yeah, that's what you think. But you don't know what the story of the formation of islam was like in that era? Right? Remember, a long time before muhammad was born, Judaism & Christianity were already growing rapidly in Arabia. You know it, right? That is world history that you must understand. Don't be too sure with your opinion, you think it's right, but it could also be wrong.
One of Your previous video you make a lot of untrue claims with many misconception about Islam, misleading information. Islam never claims that Jews copied the Quran? Why would they when the torah was revealed first? As Muslims we accept that the the stories of prophets found in Torah. I think Jews are desperate to be similar to the Christians when Christians don't follow the basic Abrahamic teachings.
Hello. Just wanted to add that Muslims do not claim that Jews copied from Quran. We only claim that there are similarities between Torah and Quran because it came from the same source i.e. one true almighty. It is our pillar to believe in all of the holy scriptures including Torah but we believe in the original Torah that was revealed to the Jewish prophets. The current version has some adulteration done over a period of time but we still consider it as a holy book.
Jews could not have copied from Islamic sources, when it says in the quran that Islam came to confirm what came before (the message that came to jesus moses and all the other prophets).

Thank you very much for a very thoughtful talk about Islam....
As a Muslim I thought that their were subtle insinuations that through calling Muslims ishmalites ,they were once idol worshippers who changed their ways idol ways and no longer undertook that practice....whereas the truth was that Islam put an end to idol worship...
You also failed to mention that when Islam arrived....the kiblaa was , Jerusalem,not the Kabah in Mecca...
Furthermore you subtedly alluded to the fact that Muhammad may have aquired his knowledge not from God ,but rather by taking half of Judaism and half and half of Christianity and creating a new direction from these two religions....whereas the Quran is quite emphatic....God made it clear,that Islam was there to confirm what came before and that it was not entirely a new production...

Why Judaism 3.0....and did the Jews and christians need a a 3.0....
And to that most scholars could argue....yes....because...
1. The Jews had failed to uphold the covernant that God had entered into with his friend Abraham.... The Quran is very clear on that....and many Jews would agree that they failed to honour the covernant,for which the wages of the covernant was to be the land of Israel....God speaks clearly of Jewish obstinance in the Quran and how they even murdered some of their prophets....I'm sure that you are aware of what God says in the Quran about the Jewish....and we both can agree on that...
God does not mince any words in his criticism of the Jews...
Secondly ,Jews did not accept Jesus as the messiah....something that he made quite clear in the Quran was that Jesus was indeed the messiah...
Thirdly Jews would never accept Ishmael as the legitimate son of Abraham because God promised Abraham that from his progeny he would create a great nation....
This promise was given to Abraham when Ishmael was 14 yrs old and Isaac was not yet born....
Jews wrongly view Ishmael as low born and somewhat illegitimate...
So my question and it comes from millions of Muslims is this....would God ,knowing that Isaac was born at the time,make such an agreement with Abraham if he agreed with the Jewish view of Ishmael...who I repeat was born at the time while Isaac was not?...
Islam or Judaism 3.0 as you may want to call it,since you made references to how surprised Muhamad pbuh was when he faced opposition from christians and Jews was what not actually about Muslims.....it was about correcting what came before....
God corrected the erroneous beliefs and follow on practices by christians and Muslims .....by letting humanity know that Jesus was indeed the messiah....yes,it may have flowed through the mouth of an Arab,but it wasn't his words,it was God's words....because if you could argue from a logic perspective.....he could have spoken in favour of the Jews ,but chose to speak in favour of the christian idol worshippers.....and you know that Islam and Judaism abhores idol worship....this alone should have been a sign to the Jews that Muhamad was telling the truth,that and the history of this man's impeccable character.... Many Muslims ,myself included are of the view that had the Jews held God's covernant ,there would be no reason for Islam or Muslims to exist.....in fact the Muslims of the world would have been Jews and happy ones too.
Likewise ,we also concluded that had the the christians not chosen the road of the trinity,Muslims could have been christian today...
So Islam ,may not have come about at all....but God foresaw it all....and just as a child's formal education does not end after his primary years....God foresaw that high school ,university was required before humanity could comprehend his messege.....and that messege was completed in the Islam stage....
This is why God says at the completion of his Quranic messege .....this day have I completed my favour unto you...and called it Islam.....meaning he who submits to me.....
The mistakes that non Muslims is not understanding that the Quran is not a book for the Muslims,but rather a book for those who seek God's guidance....
This is why non Muslims cannot fault that guidance.....so instead ,choose to call it the book of the Muslims,thereby scaring away their brothers and sisters away from reading it....and because they cannot fault the Quran,they then turn to see if they can shoot the messenger by saying that he plagarised the knowledge of others....and other books.....we Muslims can only smile and give thanks,because not only now do we know we have God's truth,but we also know now that through us God can and will fulfill his promise to his friend Abraham
I enjoyed your lecture about Islam until you said that “Muslims pray 5 times a day to surpass the Jews” which there’s nowhere in Islamic sources that says such thing, idk where you got it from but thats just not true. And same thing when you said that the Jews have been accused of stealing stories from the Quran which is not stated anywhere in the Islamic sources and probably no one said that ever. Try to be a bit more unbiased during your lectures please and stop spreading misinformation.

Because according to Rabbi Ben Abrahamson himself, he once said that it was possible that Islam was actually an ancient religion as old as Judaism.
Islam may be a wisdom of G-d, where Judaism is only for Jews and Islam is for all mankind because God is gracious and God is merciful.
When the holy temple was still standing, the Jews at that time allowed the holy temple to be visited by other religious community/faith where this religion has a foundation and laws similar to Judaism, Jews also share a place of worship and sacrifice Qurban Shalamim with this community and this community called Shalamai (Islam) and the people are called Muslamai (Muslim).
The birth of Muhammad Peace be Upon Him, could have been a divine plan to revive this ancient religion with a new name Islam and its followers as Muslims.
As a Muslim, outside of the political context I consider Jews as brothers in faith, because I think we worship the same GOD the difference is we call him by a different name.
As people of G-D faith, Please don't pit Islam against Judaism because in religion we are brothers like cousins.

Would the Jewish sage consider Bnei Ishmael as fulfilling the 7 covenants given to Bnei Noach? And how does Christian being compared to those covenants?
As a side note, as a comment to another video, in the Islamic Tradition, Moses Alechi Shalom (AS) was consulting Muhammad SAW on the number of prayers during the Isra Mi’raj event. It was narrated that Moses AS advised that 5 prayers would be too much for Muslims to comply. However, Muhammad SAW was ashamed to ask HaShem for a further reduction.
Jewish scholars who lived in Mecca. They were expecting a prophet of this nation and they knew him, but they did not believe because he came from the Arabs.

Wrong! If a gentile forces a Jew to violate any law of the Torah just because he wants him to violate the Torah, the Jew must give up his life. Intent is important.

This is just one of Quranic verses that establish directly or indirectly the status of the prequels of the Quran, the Torah and the Bible as revealed by God. In chapter 3, verse 3, God says in the Quran,
"It is He (God) Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’an) to you (Prophet Muhammad ) with truth, confirming what came before it. And he sent down the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).”
Islam recognizes that Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus are true messengers of God sent to guide humanity. They received revelation and were given scriptures that are as authentic in their original form as Muslims believe the Quran to be.
I believe idolatry is when we do not love the other. My eyes were opened when I admited that I did not know everything. I did not know who I am. We are all ignorant of truth because God created it so that we would have to see God in all His creations to see Him. We become whole when we learn we are all the same. We just need to stop idolizing ourselves and learn to love the other 🙏 We find ourself in the other 💗

We Muslims Glorify the name of Adam, Enoc, Noah, Abraham, Lut, Iscac, Ishmael, Yakoob, Josheph, Moses, Aron, David, Solomon, Jonah, Shoaib, Saleh, Yahiya, Isa (Jesus) and the final Prophet Mohammad in Mosque. (PBUT)
And Quran do not 100% denies Torah, it denied only the lies added to Torah.

Gentiles are not allowed to originate a new religion or create mitzvot for themselves based on their own decisions. They may either become righteous converts and accept all the mitzvot or retain their 7 Noahide statutes without adding or detracting from them (Maimonides, Laws of Kings 10:9).
your statement reminds me a verse of our book. "Neither Jews nor Christians will get happy from you unless you accept their religion". Allah is hundred percent right in what He told us about you guys
