    About Me:
I'm a rabbi, life coach, author, and lecturer. I am available for speaking engagements to talk about a variety of topics such as faith, positive living, well-being, mindfulness, self-help, life hacking, self improvement, and recovery. I always make my talks inspirational and I like to bring a practical "how-to" attitude to everything. A good idea only helps a person when it is manifested in his actions.
We've all heard that we need to "Think good and it will be good," and that this is an effective way to invite blessings into our lives. Recently there have even been secular studies that suggest a connection between our thoughts and reality. What are the mechanics of how this works? Is there a way in which we can grasp this idea in a practical sense? Rabbi Pinchas Taylor has spoken at length on this topic all around the country and abroad. This video is a part of his Positivity seminar.

Just a few days ago an awesome friend of mine drew my attention to some of the statements that I make. She gave the example of my saying... .that most of my friends put up with me because of my wife. I have been trying to not speak negatively, even about myself since then.

Rabbi! Rabbi! Rabbi! This is going to change my life forever! Something I've heard many times over many years but none at any time have opened my eyes and showed me how shameful I've spoken. So many points that have made me grieve of how I've spoken or acted towards situations, people and shamefully, Hashem. So thankful!

Thanks! My family has been complaining that I talk negative for years. Mystified, the things they say are negative seem like blessings to me. I don't understand.

CH Jazzman interesting, my family says the same.its just that some people think they are positive when they arent. its not just about thinking with positive, but also with lots of bitachon.
