This brought tears to my eyes. My story is with a daughter two years older than her brother. The similarity was profound. But my story has only had one step. Her admitting that there is a problem. She doesn't have the strength to take the next step though. There is a court date for the 2nd DUI at the end of the month. If she repeats her past response to this stress, she might show up drunk. My heart is aching. I feel very alone. Thank you for letting me vent. This is too personal even to share with friends.
