    Bought your tutorial pack and I've learnt heaps in just watching that.
    The only thing I'm not to clear on is your 2) Setting The Mood: creating pads and atmospheres.
    In your tutorial your initial sample is fine but when you copy that sample for a lower note and change the transpose it changes the timing of the sample. Is there something I've missed in your tutorial?

    It's $30 to watch a movie whenever you want, as many times as you want, and to get a soundpack and an ableton template included in the price. Given what instrument lessons normally cost, this is actually a pretty fair deal.

    Quick question Mr. Madman Sir. Which level of Ableton do i need to be able to do all this jazz? Can i get away with Intro? or do I need standard or suite? Normally i run studio one, but i wanna be able to do all this fancy midi fighter razzamajazz also. Thank You for your contribution, if i don't have to spend $800 on ableton, i'll buy your tutorial pack lol.

    Dearest Mad z and friends: i am wondering if anyone has any reccomendations for phono preamps, my stereo receiver dosent have a "tape out" that amplifies the signal. I am using a focusrite 2i4 so i need to boost the signal for phono (ive been told it is bad to run the record player directly into one of these kinds of cards)
    Would you folks reccomend (in general for quality) getting a newer, more modern stereo receiver, or a little dedicated phono preamp? And why?
    Many thanks. Mad z volume 5 is sick if you are reading this zach! Keep it up

    my question is can you sell this pack ? even though you sampled sounds from an actually record you didn't make?

    • @theREALblackfeatherfox
      @theREALblackfeatherfox 6 років тому +1

      Yes. The music sampled was from the 1700's which is way beyond coverage of copyright. Reading up on music copyright laws and the extent of time they cover should clarify.

    I need some help. I'm using the launchpad, and when I press lighter on the buttons, the pitch of my kick goes up, and when I press it hard it either stays the way I want it to or it goes a bit lower than preferred. It's annoying and I don't know how to change it. I think it has to do with the velocity or something tho.

    • @crabreaper3708
      @crabreaper3708 9 років тому

      Crab Reaper It also isn't doing it with my other samples. It's just the kick that has this problem.

    • @abramharrison5604
      @abramharrison5604 9 років тому

      +Crab Reaper Launchpad doesn't have any velocity sensitivity...
      try playing with the RELEASE and SUSTAIN and DECAY of your samples

    • @madsbay5009
      @madsbay5009 7 років тому

      Abram Harrison actually the launchpad pro does have that feature. Also i believe that you can fix by pressing the setup button on the launchpad. and then you need to change a the settings in there.

    When I import my audio file into a drumrack in abelton, i dont get the same window as zack does. I guess in my case abelton uses the simpler for each drum pack.. but therefore i cannot control things like the pitch control to modify my sample.. is there a setting to get zacks window by default?

    • @BlazertronGames
      @BlazertronGames 7 років тому

      bnybnybny if you have a ketone lite, I doubt that would work. But if you have the paid version, maybe there's an expand button on the simpler?

    Yeah, me too, man. I couldn't help but to say something and I will keep responding if people write me shit. Ok ok, I admit I went a little overboard with the last comment. I said you were brown nosing because you were so quick to jump in to defend Mad Zach when I wasn't even trying to attack him or his work. Jesus, I appreciate everything DJTT has done for it's customers over the years. Thanks for evaluating my comments! I'll take it into consideration the next time I decide to have an opinion.

      Jake Dalli Depends on the hardware, and software. What exactly are you using? Because on my S4, and Traktor, I can tell you. On anything else, you're better off using Google.

      its all about tweaking the loop parameters in the ableton sampler. Try changing attack and release too to make the loop sound smoother.
