The tunnel is deep enough to Avoid the dragon breath ground penetration. I collected all of my breath while i was top side but i realized when i got down there i could have collected it down there. And her flight pattern is easier to bow shot from the center. It’s harder to shoot her from outside her parabolic pattern. So i would pop up after she lifts off and pop her from my hole. I beat the game on hard mode btw with no cheats enabled. Last night i proceeded to set up a double cave spider farm in an abandoned mine. I went from level 4 to 49 in a little over 24 minutes. wow! I have never done this in survival but your guide finally got me there! I know it's a lot but I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE a video about the end islands by you! thanks again!
I beat the Ender Dragon for the first time yesterday, after enjoying this game off and on for almost 10 years, and this channel was indispensable in helping me get there. Just want to say THANK YOU for everything that you've put into your work. Every video gets right to the point, explains and demonstrates the game mechanics in a super clear and intuitive way, and provides some sound strategies that got me out of many pinches. And best of all, unlike so many other Minecraft channels, never once do I get berated with irrelevant tangents and an overblown "personality" aimed at driving a parasocial relationship. Just pure, unadulterated knowledge that's sole purpose is to help you get better at the game. Cheers!
When you go to the end for the first time, don't bring anything but an iron pick, and a full inventory of slabs and a chest Mine your way outward from the center of the main island, until you reach the void, then put down the chest, leave most of the slabs in it Place bottom slabs to bridge out from the main island You may get killed by the dragon a few times before your bridge is far enough out But if you keep returning and bridging out, it's easy and cheap to bridge out to the far end islands. You can also make a roof over the bridge to help protect you as well, if you choose. Now once you've done that, go home, get your gear, and run over your bridge to the outer end islands Congratulations you've just bypassed the end dragon, so you can go get some wings and loot, to help you fight the end dragon
If you bring a few dogs and have them sit on the sidelines, you can run to them for protection if endermen attack you. They don't attack the dogs. If you don't mind playing in 3rd person, a jack-o'-lantern helmet keeps endermen from aggro-ing on you as well.
The wild update should of included a dragon update, where you’re able to spawn a dragon from the egg but wherever you spawn it is the type of dragon you get, so overworld is one type, the nether is another and obviously the end is the end dragon. But also they should vary in appearance depending on what biome you spawned it in. All dragons in the over world should be friendly mobs you can basically use as sky horses, (could use the goat horn thing to call it to ur coordinates, use saddles etc) dragons spawned in the nether should be all hostile except 1 type which could be spawned in the green tree biome of the nether, maybe that one could breathe fire of have something special about it idk. But each one in the nether should drop a map and a head when its killed and that map could give you the coordinates to idk maybe a vein of 24 accident debris or something cool like that. Maybe each type of dragon could have its own special Elyra and each one has its own enchantment attached to it, and once u collect them all you can put them in an anvil and combined them into one god tier elytra … now that would of been a “wild” update
It should be pretty difficult to summon that dragon, im thinking youd have to get an enderman to pick up the egg, snd when he places it down, the dragon spawns. And it also has some lore material, you know endrmen being from the end as well as the dragon, and also they spawn in all dimensions.
I‘ve been playing Minecraft for 10 years now, and beat the game multiple times, But i still Watch Your videos because They are by far the best guide Videos i have ever Seen. Keep it up!
There is a glitch with the dragon that happens if you shoot the dragon in the face with a power bow right before it perches, all damage done to the dragon while it is perching is increased significantly.
Survival only player, started playing again, and am ready for the fight as of today! Hadn't played since the coral sea update, and I figured I needed a refresher on this beast and found this channel. Scaffolding seems perfect to use, and I never collected dragons' breath before. Perfect and concise guide, Thank you!
It’s surprisingly easy, just shoot the exposed crystals with arrows and the dragon shouldn’t be able to regen enough with the caged crystals, besides that just keep your eye on the dragon to avoid the projectiles and it’s pretty easy
My favorite way to kill the ender dragon is with snowballs and beds, hit a couple crystals with snowballs while you wait and when the dragon perches you bombard it's head hitbox with bed explosions, if you fail to kill it just keep going for more end crystals and eventually it will die.
That explains why I couldnt hit the ender dragons head.. because her heads hit box is in front of her face.. that makes perfect sense... im the dumb one!
You can actually kill the ender dragon without breaking all the crystals, but it is harder. I usually leave the crystal on the tallest tower, and I am able to defeat the dragon with no problem. Another strategy I use is rigging all the end crystal spots with dispensers before I respawn the ender dragon. You have to move the dispensers away or they will explode if they are too close to the end crystals. But toggle them when the crystals have spawned from a safe distance then defeat the dragon without worrying about the crystals.
If you’re beating the dragon late-game, I recommend raiding the fortress with fire resistance and a looting 3 sword, then leveling up a cleric until you get a pearl tradd
In my opinion I don't recommend using cobblestone I recommend nether rack as its really easy to break meaning if you run out of blocks you can quickly get a few netherack blocks Also I recommend you bring enderpearls, golden apples and slow falling potions but also use a splash potion of healing II my reason why is if you drink a healing potion the dragon could kill or knock you into the void also when using a slow falling potions you should have a splash potion aswell so if you are falling next to a obsidian pillar you can splash the slow falling potion against the wall which could save you in time also remember when attacking the dragon you should jump to gain crit damage but it is still a risk Also if you are not very good at water clutching or you just want to be safe I recommend having a totem in your hotbar or off hand/ second hand if your are having the totem in your hot bar I advise you have it in kne of the easier button to press for example like 3 or 4 so it's easy to access Also if your going into the end portal before the fight throw a few blocks into the portal then go in this will speed up how fast you will take to get into the end this also works with the nether aswell because the block renders the end for you so you can get in the fight quicker For anybody reading this I wish you Goodluck on your ender dragon fight
Bro you are the best.... Literally you explains the best... when I start playing Minecraft I don't know what to do... Watching your tutorials make me a pro in Minecraft and I'm in the verge of defeating Ender Dragon in my survival world... Bro keep making this content...once Again THANKS A LOT 😊😊❤❤
If you bring an inventory and ender chest full of solid blocks when you go to the end, and maybe a few bottles for the breath if necessary, you can make a path to the closest islands and find an elytra without beating the ender dragon. It may take a while and distance, maybe you have to go back home for a refill, but you will find an elytra! Bring a bow for the shulkers, they don't like bows. Also to have a high level feather falling on your boots helps a lot. If you're in a tower, use blocks to make a ceiling, so you can't elevate too high.
thanks i haven't seen ur channel before but this will help me beat the game for the first time ever (its kinda surprising i haven't yet because i started playing in 2015)
thanks so much, before this video I thought I was really unprepared for the fight and i got really scared to enter the portal, but after the video I realised that it's so much easier than it looks. thanks again!
Even though I beat the ender dragon multiple times now I am getting close to fighting it in my hardcore world so Im trying to refresh my knowledge for it in every way possible lmao
This guy ahs great tips, but here’s some additional ones: 1. you don’t need scaffolding, you can tower up with water, 2. When trying to avoid enfermen, dig hiding holes at least 5 blocks deep, not too shallow or else the dragon hit box will kill you. 3. You don’t need diamond armor! Iron is all it takes.
I’ve been playing since 2013, and I’ve only beaten the game 6 times, and out of those six times only 2 times with achievements, the other times I used keep inventory, be and my got in a little two week addiction and now we are locked in
After casually playing Minecraft on and off for years, I decided to do it properly - after a few months I'm finally tooled up with full Netherite gear, and just about to do this Dragon at long last. Needed this video, as I'm actually really nervous about dying and losing all that very hard earned stuff lol. Wish me luck O_O
UPDATE - I did it, and it was bloody stressful. Endermen killed me once, then the dragon was on the tiniest bit of health but I could not get the critical hit for ages. Finally took her down with an accurate arrow. First time ever.
I am about to do the boss fight first time in hardcore. Those bamboo scaffolds are one of the most useful blocks in the game. However I am also playing amplified world, so obtaining that much string is really hard. For me it involves a dangerous trip into the badlands and facing off with a million poison spiders and witches in the abandoned mineshafts lol. I do use potions, which in turn leaves me with just enough empty bottles to grab the dragon's breath. I sometimes don't go for elytra straight away, I go back through the portal after defeating the dragon, and usually bring stuff to mitigate the dangerous island portal spawn. Also you can use the XP drop from the dragon to get looting III on your sword so you can get more shulker shells. This is incredibly useful if like me, you're planning a shulker box storage system. You always want to carry at least one shulker box with you at all times once you've completed the dragon as well, I can't stress how much of a game changer these are.
It's easy. I tend to make a big thing about going to the end, specially this time, my first hardcore attempt. Actually I go overkill, you don't need to if you're just doing ordinary survival. All you really need in ordinary survival is an axe (best melee damage for single entity, e.g dragon), around three stacks of food, preferably beef and gold carrots/apples and a bow and around three stacks of arrows or infinity enchantment, you'll also want a sword just in case of the endermen, but a good friend of mine recommends using an axe because it does the highest damage to single mobs. If you're not playing hardcore, you can just set your spawn point in the dungeon before you go, and pop a chest down with some armour and a weapon just in case, this way even if you die, you can keep going back until the dragon is dead. For me, it's game over, so I hope I do ok this weekend lol.
New player here, Only been playing about 5 or 6 months and eveytime I need help I find your channel lol.. Your videos have helped me progress so much in my world, should be ready for my first dragon fight soon, just scared to fight it solo haha
What about using some water buckets, making a bunch of big puddles, then using a Trident with Riptide III and a slow-falling potion to fly up, shoot out the end crystals, and then of course a crossbow with some rockets against the Enderdragon? Ok the crossbow might be a little much, it's aim is horrible with rockets, but flying around with a Riptide enchanted Trident, while using slow-falling is not only fun, it's the fastest way to move short of teleporting. Plus using water buckets to make puddles everywhere will have the extra benefit of keeping all of the enderman out of the way, and if you think the puddles make it slow to move around... use trident and just aim straight ahead, way faster than running. Also, from what I understand, the Enderdragon only destroys blocks not native to the end... so just use obsidian for everything. It's strong as hell and blast-proof anyway, so you could make a quick blocking set up and just place the bed right under where the dagon's head will be when he lands, and not worry about blowing yourself up.
Bring an extra bucket of water!!! In the middle of the fight I somehow started beef with an enderman. In an effort to squash the beef I placed my bucket of water down, but simultaneously the dragon attacked me and suddenly my water was gone. I was left alone and confused, with an empty bucket. I still had to scaffold up to the 2nd caged end crystal. It was pretty sketchy, but eventually I got the job done. Bring an extra water bucket or two, incase this happens to you. (This was on Bedrock - Hard mode)
I loved this channel, definitely worth hitting that subscribe button! I was anxious about taking on the dragon before watching this video but now I am totally ready! :D
Not to be judgy but I did have a few suggestions: 1. Use a sword instead of an axe. It can have Sharpness V on it and reloads faster, doing more damage per second than an axe, which is useful because the perching time can be quite short 2. Idk why he did this, but pls dont stand right in front of its head. You're basically asking to die. Stand inside the portal behind it's head to be safe from dragon's breath, and when it knocks u into the air, use a water bucket or slow falling potion

Cheers!
When you go to the end for the first time, don't bring anything but an iron pick, and a full inventory of slabs and a chest
Mine your way outward from the center of the main island, until you reach the void, then put down the chest, leave most of the slabs in it
Place bottom slabs to bridge out from the main island
You may get killed by the dragon a few times before your bridge is far enough out
But if you keep returning and bridging out, it's easy and cheap to bridge out to the far end islands. You can also make a roof over the bridge to help protect you as well, if you choose.
Now once you've done that, go home, get your gear, and run over your bridge to the outer end islands
Congratulations you've just bypassed the end dragon, so you can go get some wings and loot, to help you fight the end dragon
I did mention building a flying machine to do the same thing but this is probably easier
Or just use a pearl
@@JimmyChow42069 the outer end islands are like 1000 blocks out and you can only pearl like 100 blocks out.
Don’t do thin in hardcore without multiple safety measures.
I feel like the wild update is an extension of caves and cliffs though so maybe in another update
@@wipe93 🤞🤞🤞
It should be pretty difficult to summon that dragon, im thinking youd have to get an enderman to pick up the egg, snd when he places it down, the dragon spawns. And it also has some lore material, you know endrmen being from the end as well as the dragon, and also they spawn in all dimensions.
@@sachafriderich3063I love that
Between yourself and JC playz it’s really helpful to have these videos
Your videos are like mini lectures on minecraft, so useful!
I absolutely love your videos. Its so helpful. I absolutely hate the fact the you channel has only 50k subs.
Maybe one day that will change :)
@@Eyecraftmcalready changed i guess 🎉❤
I‘ve been playing Minecraft for 10 years now, and beat the game multiple times, But i still Watch Your videos because They are by far the best guide Videos i have ever Seen. Keep it up!
In survival or creative? And how many times?
Thank you i been playing MC for over 5 years and dint beat ender dragon but with this video i did it thank you.
There is a glitch with the dragon that happens if you shoot the dragon in the face with a power bow right before it perches, all damage done to the dragon while it is perching is increased significantly.
Best Tutorial Ever!
Thanks Alot!, I Will Really Try This
Survival only player, started playing again, and am ready for the fight as of today!
Thanks!
Thank you for the super thanks! Glad it could help
recently got back into mc, your videos are a blessing. you gained a sub
Speed and Kai watching this video right now lol
They need this advice ☠️
@@hectorbruh For sure bro, I just feel bad for them at this point
They need a hardcore version for this video
just beat the enter dragon yesterday and it was way easier than expected
My favorite way to kill the ender dragon is with snowballs and beds, hit a couple crystals with snowballs while you wait and when the dragon perches you bombard it's head hitbox with bed explosions, if you fail to kill it just keep going for more end crystals and eventually it will die.
Thank you so much!!! This is the guide I have been waiting for! Very useful thanks eyecraft :)
That's a lot! Didn't even think of bamboo scaffolding!!
Just beat the enderdragon first time, thanks for the scaffolding tip came handy
Yooo, that arrow camera shot was dope
That explains why I couldnt hit the ender dragons head.. because her heads hit box is in front of her face.. that makes perfect sense... im the dumb one!
XD To be fair there are no hitboxes on bedrock edition
This "head hitbox" doesnt even at head, so i dont see anything dumb here, except hitbox developers
Potion of slow falling is goated. Wont take any fall damage;)
This got me past the dragon and the poem after that had me in tears. So good. Thanks!
If you’re beating the dragon late-game, I recommend raiding the fortress with fire resistance and a looting 3 sword, then leveling up a cleric until you get a pearl tradd
Btw it’s also good to get snowballs for the end crystals also and if you want you can bring potions of slow falling for falling from the towers
im kinda scared to go, but really excited (its my 1st time) so ill go and try to beat her, wish me luck
In my opinion I don't recommend using cobblestone I recommend nether rack as its really easy to break meaning if you run out of blocks you can quickly get a few netherack blocks
Also I recommend you bring enderpearls, golden apples and slow falling potions but also use a splash potion of healing II my reason why is if you drink a healing potion the dragon could kill or knock you into the void also when using a slow falling potions you should have a splash potion aswell so if you are falling next to a obsidian pillar you can splash the slow falling potion against the wall which could save you in time also remember when attacking the dragon you should jump to gain crit damage but it is still a risk Also if you are not very good at water clutching or you just want to be safe I recommend having a totem in your hotbar or off hand/ second hand if your are having the totem in your hot bar I advise you have it in kne of the easier button to press for example like 3 or 4 so it's easy to access
Also if your going into the end portal before the fight throw a few blocks into the portal then go in this will speed up how fast you will take to get into the end this also works with the nether aswell because the block renders the end for you so you can get in the fight quicker
For anybody reading this I wish you Goodluck on your ender dragon fight
ever since this video ive defeated the dragon 5 times after never entering the end before. great tips and great youtuber!
If you're in a tower, use blocks to make a ceiling, so you can't elevate too high.
been playing minecraft since 1.7.10 and just defeated the ender dragon legitimately for the first time today! thanks so much!
I was waiting for this for sooooo long
what is google.mp4
thanks i haven't seen ur channel before but this will help me beat the game for the first time ever (its kinda surprising i haven't yet because i started playing in 2015)
This was very helpful thank you so much 😃
thanks so much, before this video I thought I was really unprepared for the fight and i got really scared to enter the portal, but after the video I realised that it's so much easier than it looks. thanks again!
Love your vids!
I’ve played this game for years but never managed to beat the dragon, I’m going to try this and I know this will work because this channel is awesome
Bruh mans uploaded exactly what I need when I need it. Creepy stuff but I ain’t complaining! Thank you!
Yay I'm excited I've been playing minecraft on and off for ages but today is the first time I'll kill the enderdragon for myself! Also with no cheats!
I’ve been playing since 2013, and I’ve only beaten the game 6 times, and out of those six times only 2 times with achievements, the other times I used keep inventory, be and my got in a little two week addiction and now we are locked in
I did it on peaceful then quickly switched to easy with 1 of my online friends
I have been looking for a channel like this forever, you definitely earned my sub!
@@rikkistarrett307 congrats dude
Congrats bud
Big thanks to you I have a survival world almost 100 days and isn't gving up yet.
excellent video as always, thank you! I look forward to the video about the end cities
New player here, Only been playing about 5 or 6 months and eveytime I need help I find your channel lol.. Your videos have helped me progress so much in my world, should be ready for my first dragon fight soon, just scared to fight it solo haha
For the pumpkin problem, you can use a texture pack that gets rid of the limited vision
Speed and Kai need to see this before start any more runs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have played for 6 years and I’m finally ready to fight the dragon for the first time.
16 ender pearls can also be a life saver btw, I love your vids their so fun to watch and calming and it makes everything seem effortless
“The end of the enderdragon in the end, and the end of this video” was just crazy 😂
Had to watch this just in case anything new was added it’s been years since I’ve beat it before
You explained speedrunning in a nutshell and I love it thnx even though I play bedrock!! Love ur work
Who is here while Kai and Speed are 100 hours in on their Minecraft hardcore run, 2024-08-22
GG
i would advise that before tou go into the end, copy your world so if you die you can just go into the copy of it
I’m ready I think! I have a lot of good enchants on all my diamond stuff and the best enchants for my bow and I have a lot of ender pearls
Helped me to slay the dragon for the first time!
Came from speed's stream hopefully speed and kai can beat the game finally
Bring an extra bucket of water!!! In the middle of the fight I somehow started beef with an enderman. In an effort to squash the beef I placed my bucket of water down, but simultaneously the dragon attacked me and suddenly my water was gone. I was left alone and confused, with an empty bucket. I still had to scaffold up to the 2nd caged end crystal. It was pretty sketchy, but eventually I got the job done. Bring an extra water bucket or two, incase this happens to you. (This was on Bedrock - Hard mode)
Tip - go fishing a lot or trade villagers for Feather Falling IV. It will save your life most likely
I want to really thank you your tips helped me so much im glad can you also make a video on wither
I loved this channel, definitely worth hitting that subscribe button! I was anxious about taking on the dragon before watching this video but now I am totally ready! :D
Thanks man, your videos are awesome and always helped me
thank you so much for the pumpkin head tip bro it actualy helped so much the endermen make it impossible.
Finally THE video I’ve been waiting on
great video grizz!
Do the obsidian pillars regenerate? could i just carve a stairwell to the top through the middle?
They regenerate every time you resummon the enderdragon but they dont change unless you do that
@@Eyecraftmc D: guess people would find all sorts of ways to break the game if not hahaha.

Not to be judgy but I did have a few suggestions:
1. Use a sword instead of an axe. It can have Sharpness V on it and reloads faster, doing more damage per second than an axe, which is useful because the perching time can be quite short
2. Idk why he did this, but pls dont stand right in front of its head. You're basically asking to die. Stand inside the portal behind it's head to be safe from dragon's breath, and when it knocks u into the air, use a water bucket or slow falling potion
