@@post-up Keep doing the great work you're doing brother. The casual style is a breath of fresh air compared to certain commentators who are in love with the sound of their own voices.
These guys are insane. The first stream I ever watched from Post Up was the Styer vs SVB match. I think it was for a benefit? Anyway, love your content and another huge thing is your commentary is great, you speak when needed, you don’t try to come off as a know it all, you’re a genuine fan of the players and the game.
Unless it’s a tap in I prefer to shoot my 8s. Keeps the rhythm for me and then when I get a tough 8 it isn’t the first one I’ve shot in a couple games.
@@coreyvreelandthat’s an interesting take. If my opponent gives me the last ball, I’ll confirm “you’re giving me the game?” And if they say yes, I try to trick shot it around lol
Hey Post-Up/Collins. During the USOpen 10ball, when you were streaming one of the matches, you had Albin Ouschan in the booth talking about pool and commentating (I think it was during a match, could have been between). Do you know what match that was during and are you going to be uploading the single match like this? I thought it was great to here his perspective on pool and his views about the game and himself.
Collin I first saw your stream, You and your partner were going over work Etc.but not covering the game that’s all but You’re pretty much doing a great job. Many thanks.
@@post-up Thats awesome! Also when i asked you last night, i was looking at the new purple light that shoots straight up thru the clouds in sky like a sword! The new Kings game light and apparently they won the game….

Are you trolling? I get so sick of commentary strictly on the game play.. I can understand if you’re new to the game, but in general you should have a decent idea of what’s going on and what the players are doing.
@@ujusgotmeggedso you're saying when wrestling, Olympics, tennis, basketball, and the largest Roman bread and circus "football" is on the commentators should be talking about their children's elementary crayon drawing project or how they had to take their dog to the vet? You're discipable.
Pool is a game and not a sport. So the commentary should not be like that in sports. Pool has a great and colorful history. The better you play, the more likely you are to be a felonious cretin with 6k hilarious stories. So most pool commentary should be a bit about the match at hand, interspersed with stories of yore and a bit of new day gossip. Who’s playing who and all that. Some chit chat about equipment and women is acceptable as well.
@@post-up Thank you. I've been playing non-professional pool for going on 50 years and when I started playing APA rules were in place and I didn't realize that WPA, established in 1987, had different 8-ball break rules. Started going down the pool rules rabbit hole even so far as looking at the Handbook of Rules of Billiards - 1910 Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co.
I intensely dislike the flimsy plastic that they are using for racking and you move the balls while lifting it up after the break. They are leaving the plastic on the rail sometimes. Its so disgusting to look at. What has pool come down to? Wooden triangle is the best, it feels so nice in the hands and it lasts for 100 years.
I tried watching this again , I'd forgotten about the noisy chit chat which I already complained about . But it was the yellow lines being drawn on the table that were the straw breaker today . Enjoying watching pool is so much better with minimal mellow commentating or none.

US Open so cheap. The place US Open held is so cheap. Compared to other countries like European Open, Hanoi Open, where they held World Pool Master and many more. America is really becoming a third-world country.
Well they’re trying to turn us into that there’s no doubt about it. And in a way I suppose pool is a good weathervane for that because it’s already on the fringe of professional games/sports - so it would naturally be one of the first to show signs. Like when a Fortune 500 or entertainment company is doing great they’ll have all these unnecessary fringe programs and extras. D.I.E progrums are a good example. But once times are tight those are the first to go. The unnecessary and/or harmful. But we have a bit of hope in our country now. Let’s hope doge comes in and slashes the federales by 50% at least. Then extricate the hoards that have rushed in over the past four years. Investigate and deal with those responsible for this yuge mess. Reestablish ourselves with respect on the world stage and stop letting ourselves be pillaged. The rising tide will raise all ships. Pool included. Godspeed to us
Please please please stop putting high quality matches in the hands of these horrible commentators!!! They are horrible for the sport!!! Soooooo hard to listen to!!!
8:38 "This game's over" I really don't like when the announcers do that. Let the rack play out before you claim it's over.
Just a little dose of reality from a fellow railbird :)
@@post-upI don't disagree that it's reality, but as a commentator it can come off as, "I can't be bothered.".

Disregard, found it. Shane vs LeeVan, Hot Seat.
I noticed how some racks where 2 stripes were on both bottom ends instead of a solid and a stripe. Does it not matter in rack your own?
Usually it does. These guys have played hundreds of racks together over the years not surprising a few slipped through incorrectly.
Yes, it's illegal to have two stripes or two solids on the corners.
Thanks Collins amma keep on supporting firstly by just watching hope it counts...
you said shane was in the booth talking about how good the chinese 8 ball players are so you know when that stream was?

Good stroke getting on the 8 rack 2
Is that savannah Easton in the background? 😲
I made it to 51:45 and then I finally muted this. I hope he’s not being paid for this…
Ive had my 9 ball accurack flip up like that one time.
In the 15th game, why didn't Ouschan win when he pocketed the 8-ball on the break?
8 on the break groves the breaker the option to spot the 8 and play the rack as it lays, or re-rack and re-break. World standard Professional rules.
