This show was hilarious but al and griff were a match made in heaven. I just wish that griff had come sooner in the series. I see in other comments they call griff al’s sidekick. I say he was Al’s equal and they just took each other to a new level. Thanks for the laughter guys

I live in USA and I thought families were just like that, my family wasn't the exact but very close to this family and so when I branched out into the world I found out I was wrong, I'm 27 now and I still watch it and remind myself of the good ol days. This show was the best. I came to America in 1988. The show had first aired in 87… I caught up once they showed reruns. Every Sunday night, we’d be planted in front the tv.
