This is great! Thank you! I just purchased Ancients to use with Torchlight Level 1 and I’m so excited to get started with CC and your video answered a bunch of questions I had since I’m still waiting to get my books 😊
How did you blend CC with American History? Did you do the blocks where you did CC and then ROV? I think I remember you talking about that. Anyhow, we did ROV a few years ago, but I want to do it again (with BYL Lv5) since that is what he'd be doing in public school this year. Yet, he LOVES CC and I want to do Early Modern History too. He's less than thrilled about US History...that was rambling...
Yes, that’s exactly it. We did world history with CC as the main spine for 6-8 weeks, switched to US for 6-8 weeeks (depending on the study) with ROV as the main spine. And we have done it before with shorter time frames, like 3 weeks main lesson blocks.
Do you prefer the hardcover or softcover? I have all hardcover...except ancients which I have softcover. Currently debating if to buy the hardcover and sell the softcover
Most of the levels I showed here, we used in the younger years. We just blended the same time period or location. Depends on what resources I had for the year, how much I used from each. It’s very year specific.

My pleasure, glad it helped!

Honestly, I’m indifferent. They both look good on the shelf and worked find for us.
How do you incorporate this with oak meadow?
