OMG Rob, while watching this video going through a box of customer wrapped rolls. Literally just found 3 buffs in one roll! 20, 28, 29 all P's. I don't think I've ever found more than 3 in a box. Crazy, from a new bank and all they have is customer wrapped. This roll just earned them my business for sure! Hope you're feeling better. Oh, and nice hunt with 3 buffs of your own plus 46 finds! As always, keep it up brother!
Rob let me mention that I just subscribed. I love your channel and have been a long time hunter. I have been lucky enough to find 3 50-D’s over that timeframe. Keep up you posts, they are a nice distraction from our time on this crazy earth.
What’s up Rob!! I love watching all of your coin unboxings videos. I was wondering while you are doing your intros if you could tell us what key dates & some semi key dates that we need to keep an eye out for. Depending on what coins you are unboxing or going through a 90% bag of silver coins in the videos. That would help us learn the key dates and semi key dates. It’s just a suggestion.
Speaking of nickels, I recently found my first ever proof find in my about 4 years of coin collecting and hunting. It was a 1969 proof nickel. Even pretty nice!
Haven’t found any war nickels in a while at work. Last week I found 2 in one night. I was quite happy. Usually just find 43P but was happy to see a 44 pop up.
I enjoy the nickel hunts most of all. I am also on my third hunt and fill but mine is not from roll hunting. Mine is from my change and everyone that lets me look through their change. This is fun. & I'm doing '38 to '24.
man is a joy finding war nickels once when i was living in williston north dakota i got 20 nickel rolls from a bank and found 29 war nickels i was shock ony one or two rolls have nothing but the rest 2 or 3 even 4 war nickels in every roll
Can't blame you for nick-a-date the first Buffalo nickel. I thought the last number was an 8 for sure before you did. Awesome hunt in spite of getting shorted a roll.
The 1946 to 1954 nickels have a large S mint mark and the 1938 to 1940 nickels have the micro S mint mark and some of the 1941 nickels have the large S mint mark.
1943-P and -S in my last nickel box. No buffalos this time, though. I've been pulling out 1939 no mms. Going to make a roll of them and put it back into circulation, just for the fun of it.
Hi Rob. good to see you back up and running. I recently dug a nice 1866 2 center with a very prominent die crack thru the date. I cant find any thing on PCGS price guide. I know it is a known variety just wondering about rarity and value.. TIA Jim
Have you ever seen the film 'American Buffalo' before? It's got Dustin Hoffman and that guy from NYPD Blue in it. It's the only film I can think of where a rare coin is central to the plot.
I’m not sure what it is, but after seeing so many 1916 S buffalo’s dateless, I knew it was one before you nic-a-dated it just based on the strike. As you and I know, you can typically ID coins before you even flip them to the obv/rev based on their strike. Like that 54 S, since all the strikes of them were mostly complete garbage, I knew it was a 54 before you flipped it.
Pulled the world's worst V nickel ever last night. All you can see is the silhouette outline in the obverse, reverse looks like a plain planchet again😂
I don’t know if it’s my eyes playing tricks on me but that 39 S mint mark looks like it has been struck several times. Like I said it could be my eyes but I froze the screen and I’m looking at it right now and it still looks like multiple s going up the side of Monticello ( forgive me if my spelling is off but my spell check doesn’t seem to want to work with my spelling so it’s what I’m is.
I can't understand the term you are using to see the date on the buffalo nickels. What are you calling it? What are you doing to the nickel to be able to see the date? Where do you get those boxes of coins? I recently started watching your channel and really love learning about the coins.
It's called Nic-a-Date. It's an acid that can bring the date out again. Some banks will let you order whole boxes. Be nice to your tellers and keep trying usually you'll find one.
I can't believe how many Buffalo Nickels we found during this hunt!

Two semi-keys and three buffalo nickels - heck yeah! That was a sweet hunt - you can't get mad at that! Another great video!
Congratulations on the finds. I'm always glad to see you find buffalo nickels. Nice video.
That missing roll was all shield,V, and Buffalos 🐃. 😊Really enjoyed the hunt.Lots of good finds.
Ahhh the rare 1950 D sharpie variant!
It was the rare no-step variety too! 😂
A thumbs up for a another excellent nickel hunt!
Thanks for sharing 👍
I learn a lot from your videos 📹

Great finds in those boxes.
Awesome video congratulations on finding 3 Buffalo nickels and other finds thanks for sharing Rob
I love these nickel hunts! Found a V nickel in a roll the other day!
My favorite is when Rob says "we're gonna get right into it" and opens the first roll at 1:24.
That’s really your favorite? 😂
@@RobFindsTreasure oh yeah! And the buffaloes!
Love the intros, It is like hearing the voice of an old friend. Your presentation is the best I can hardly watch other people's coin hunting.

Couple of nice boxes my friend, congrats on the upgrades Rob 👍
I like the intro, it‘s like a mantra.
Hello! Another one of your hunts , just watched ❤! Good looking five cents and buffaloes!😊😊
Thank you!
Great couple of boxes for sure. As always appreciate your time and hard work! Happy Hunting! Stephen
Another fun hunt! 👍 Funny how no buffaloes for a while and then you get a stampede. Next hunt get that silver genie to stampede SILVER!!!
Awesome, I notice any of the 1951s are hard to come by. I had 10 buffaloes in a box a couple months ago.

Nicadate does a really good job!
Speaking of nickels, I recently found my first ever proof find in my about 4 years of coin collecting and hunting. It was a 1969 proof nickel. Even pretty nice!
Nice!
I get proof nickels pretty regularly. In fact today I had a 1964 proof nickel ender
Very nice! Haven't gotten any nickel rolls in 6 months, but this is gently persuading me to get back at it! Looking forward to seeing the next hunt.
Thanks for another fun video .
Great video
👍 Love the nickel hunts .

Buffalo's are getting soooo rare, great job Rob!

Fantastic finds 😮
buffalo nickels are always the best.
Hunted only my second or third nickel box, found a silver, buffalo, and a couple of s mints. Going to pick up ankther box, hoping the luck continues.
Nice hunt Rob...Some beautys there👌
I like buffalo bill!❤
Me too!
@@RobFindsTreasureReal man the 1939 was looking like it would be the key date and man you trolled us with that 50 D! Forshadowing?
That makes up for the extra dimes in the penny case the other day

i found my first 1939-S in some grocery store change the other day! heres hoping i can give you some of my luck :]
Found a nice 1903 V Nickel in Fine Hunting a box recently!
Cool Upgrades!!!!!
First! Less than a minute lol
Edit: nevermind actually I’m about fifth lol
I found a 1939 S key date, My first key date ever! At work in the register.
It looks like someone emptied their old change cup. I do it on occasion. I do keep the better coins, I'm not foolish.
I love beef from a steak to a burger to a buffalo nickle
Got a nice 43 S nickel in change last week.
The 2024 Jefferson Nickels are a very low mintage this year !
Nice upgrades and hopefully before the end of fall you slot some coins soon
Hi Rob. good to see you back up and running. I recently dug a nice 1866 2 center with a very prominent die crack thru the date. I cant find any thing on PCGS price guide. I know it is a known variety just wondering about rarity and value.. TIA Jim
The 1935-D buffalo nickel was unusually slick in fair to AG condition as all 30's buffalo nickels, 1930 onward are typically in VG+ condition.
You need to go back and put together a folder of all the Buffalo nickels you’ve found.
Right on!
I know, right? On? 😀
Finally! A 50-D. 😂
I'm on silver nickel drought too. If you got any advice on finding some, please lay it on me! Three buffalos are awesome anyday.
Have you ever seen the film 'American Buffalo' before? It's got Dustin Hoffman and that guy from NYPD Blue in it. It's the only film I can think of where a rare coin is central to the plot.
I've gone through 2 boxes this week but no buffalos :(

STAMPEDE!
👍
Did that 39' have a P above the building? Swear I saw it.
Do find any Henning Nickels?
Missing a roll? Somebody check Johnnie T's pockets! lol
Same old Same old?
No... we like the intro drama music
Pulled the world's worst V nickel ever last night. All you can see is the silhouette outline in the obverse, reverse looks like a plain planchet again😂
Hey, still fun to see it though! Nice find!
@@RobFindsTreasure oh I definitely kept it
