    Power Position to Above Knee
    It looks far more exaggerated in this video - but I feel it’s necessary to sometimes show it this way so beginners can get a sense of how the hips do come to the bar while the knees stay bent in the pull.
    ✅ Feel the tension in the quads
    ✅ Stay over the bar
    ✅ Bring the hips to the bar while delaying knee extension
    ✅ Actively swoop / brush the bar against the body
    Snatch Deadlift to Mid-Thigh
    Easy to teach, loadable, can make clients hate you with extended pauses - ticks all the boxes IMO.
    ✅ 2-3sec Pause Mid Thigh
    ✅ Slower pull off the floor to find position
    Power Snatch with Pause Mid-Thigh
    Great primer for someone who tends to “deadlift” the bar during the snatch, or struggles to “stay over” / “use the legs” 🇷🇺.
    ✅ Use a lighter weight
    ✅ Can use a tempo pull for weaker clients / not to bruise ego as much
    ✅ Try to avoid sitting into the heels TOO much.
