Been buying gold on the way up and still buying. I just get what I can afford, started with ounces now just tenth ounce and when I don’t have enough for that I get silver
I sold 10 of a ounce gold eagle usmint gold proof and got less from LCS didn't offer collectors price. I try not buy proof coins now better off buying Bullion if I'm going get same price when I sell.

With the direction to economy and the world is heading I wouldn’t be surprised whatsoever. If it hits 3000 or higher why not I’ll be happy
Gold & particularly Silver are tricky to Buy 'n Hold. Right now seems like a slow time for precious metals which will likely last into the Summer possibly the Fall. I'd bought 15 oz gold last year when it was $1700-1900 an ounce so I did alright but I'm not in a rush to buy anymore at the moment. When the price peaks & the top looks somewhat precarious, it's best to pull back, which means now.
That would upset those who are new to stacking but probably make those who have been stacking for a long time happy
As a guy who has just started buying gold it seems like a daunting task but im not worried, do i wish i started earlier? Sure i do but its fine i just have plan my buys in a longer term, i think i can maybe get a half an oz every 3 months if nothing unexpected happens, or maybe an oz every 5 and a half months as far as the price is now but so what itll be fine
Gold price should be closer to $60,000 / oz.
And with a currency collapse/ reset, within the next year......
