The Libreria bookshop sounds so good! I need to check it out next time I'm in London! Ugh, I just find it so frustrating when books don't have a proper summary. They do that sometimes in France when they just put a short extract of the book on the back cover, but it still doesn't tell you what the book is about. That's usually a big no-no for me and deters me from buying it, but with the Penguin ones, it's a bit harder cause they usually have such interesting topics (but the one I bought, I did online based on someone's rec, so I knew already what they were about).
Yeah, that was the first time I’d gone there, and it was really cool! 😂 Whenever books don’t have a proper synopsis on the back (or inside), it’s either poor marketing or a power move. It must be nice to be such a well-known and respected author that people will buy your book from the title alone.
