  • Had a good start and unfortunately couldn’t keep up with Kellen when he passed. Made it halfway through the race and started going backwards. Had a good battle with Han before Jeremy paid me back for the gift at NOLA by gifting me the free pass for 2nd this round when he ran off. As always thanks to my sponsors that make this possible!

@@oilcheckracing It should be a blast. I just road the Tail of the Dragon and got some practice in, and it was awesome. no massive leaning... yet. vid is up too.

@@StreetMotoZ sweet I’ll have to check it out. I’ve never been there either. I don’t do much street riding anymore. But we are moving soon to a place with a lot of good roads. May put the head and taillight back on the Duke and ride it around a bit lol

the 1st and last lap lines were very smooth and the pass at 11:08 was great. some additional endurance training might smooth out the middle laps. i would definitely consider boxing training, after the first pass, no one else would have gotten by but it seemed like panic set in and threw you off your race. last thing id say is this-- when you were laser focused, it was a thing of beauty to watch, great run and i only said what i said because id love to see you out front. but im nobody at all so take this with half a grain of salt.

@@alanweiss3578 yeah.. I was having some health issues that weekend. Heat exhaustion/Dehydration. It was also 108F that day lol. I have to much metal and stuff in my body to be boxing anymore although I did used to go to a mixed martial arts gym to stay fit. I also endurance race an R3. I was just having an off weekend but we made the best of it lol

@@oilcheckracing does riding contribute to the metals in your body? id imagine it does but im genuinely curious. either way i recently watched the race you won. man, that was awesome! felt your disappointment when he repassed you, but like a champ you put your head down and got it done.

@@alanweiss3578 riding has contributed to the hard parts lol. But my main gig is collision repair/automotive painting. And I’m sure that does. I’ve started getting a cocktail IV before each race weekend and it’s definitely helped as well.
