What a cool idea for a mini series! Love watching your learning journey and decision process. Helps me learn a lot. I'm sure your jumper will be a huge success 🤞
Great job so far on your sweater. Looking forward to following your progress! If I were you, I’d go to your local fabric store to shop for a zipper. Staff would be knowledgeable to help you purchase the correct zipper for knitwear. Good luck!
Wow, that’s a lot of progress in one day!! I have purchased a set of HiyaHiya circle needles per your recommendation and just today made my first attempt at some circle knitting… which was a total disaster… so… I will try again until I figure it out. I’m in total awe at your abilities.
Oh thanks so much! Well, it was a struggle for me too…I recommend watching a tutorial of some sort, it makes it way easier than figuring it out on your own
@@irishfarmart yes, watching lots of tutorials… trying different approaches to see which of them suit me… I did get it working fairly well after a few tries (just stockinette so far).
Dying a sweater is easy. I use the kitchen sink. Practice with something less precious to get the confidence . You can overdye that green oche colour with burgundy , brow n , petrol , green or black
Looks like the sun is out!!! Here finally too!!! Zipper sewing scares me as much as steeking! Why would you buy a color that you don't like? Color is important to me. The color is what takes my eye. Would a tailor be able to do it for a fee? If my mom were with us, she could do it 🤣🤣🤣. She was the seamstress in my family. I could do some sewing but I would rely on her to sew my zippers. That's why I used to love wrap around skirts in the day!!! A sewing shop should be able to help you out Today you popped up first for me as you always should!!! Happy knitting! Love your Claddagh ring, sooo Irish!
Good question! I think I had my time in which I thought earthy colours would suit me 🙂↕️ or maybe I found a great discount at that time, I can’t really recall. But I have to say that knitting on it, it’s growing slowly on me
❤ love the colour, when u ready and would be interested I can buy this pulower from u 😊 would be happy yo wear it. Thx for representing male knitters 😘
@@irishfarmart I thought so 😐. A good pattern always needs to include the schematics of it. I've recently started buying patterns myself and I am very disappointed of what I get. 😔
I looove to watch you and hear your voice.
And of course track the knitting.
Much love from Germany!
Thank you so much!
O thank you for your LOVELY words Sam! So nice that you got inspiration from one of my episodes. That is really heart jumping for me 🤎
Oh you are so welcome! Thanks so much to make our hearts jump all the time!!!!!! Really means a lot ❤️

Does the pattern have a very detailed schematics? Ty
Oh not really…doesn’t have schematics at all, but it’s quite clear
