The point of the show was establishing Agatha as a villain that can still affect the MCU in the future. It’s very clear who she is and she's not been redeemed, but they doubled down in showing who she is. Now we have a really intelligent and manipulative villain who has the occasional loyalty of a very powerful Wiccan.
she wasn't preserving her son. she never knew when his time would come she could do nothing for him. she has always killed witches. thats how she and death met to begin with
This show was only to have one season and that was it. But since the show did so well there might be a season two. But no word yet if they are going to have a season two.
Nah, as much as we’d all love it, this and WandaVision were always part of a trilogy. VisionQuest is next. I really hope Jac Shcaeffer gets to work on the upcoming Scarlet Witch movie. She REALLY understands these characters.
Maybe I'm tripping but I don't consider her evil, a bad person with poor intentions at times yes but not "evil". She was a teen when her mom and coven tried to kill her so kill them before they can get her is probably what she is thinking. She told her son when he asked could they stay with other witches and she said no because they will kill her. Also she tricked people to attack her by calling them names to me that seems like their deaths are their faults. That's like a kid throwing a fit because someone called them out their name. Each one of them could have walked away which is what Jen, Lilia and Alice were going to do.
so in the 1600s she made a deal to trade her child for the darkhold if she were to ever have one but when nicholas was born in the 1750s she started to regret it but it was too late and death was already there to collect her baby but due to their close personal relationship together death grant her a little favor by buying nicholas some time. Agatha on the other hand knew in order to keep death from coming back for her son she has to keep offering her dead bodies which is why lady death came and took nicholas away the night he told agatha "lets stop killing witches for a day". p/s : in the end agatha clearly said "lets go find tommy". young avengers still lacking tommy

Her baby was dying when she's gave birth. It happened a lot in that time period.
@@swimrock9410 Yeah I didn't see any talk about the Darkhold in this story.
If you pay attention to the show, you find out the Darkhold has nothing to do with Nicholas. She never made that deal.
