Zack Snyder did not understand Superman. That’s the only reason why Superman seems to have been less popular..you can’t take a light hero and make them dark. (Like Star trek..Roddenberry saw it as a beacon of hope for the future, not a dark tale, you can’t make that dark either..!) This trailer was mostly about light, the sun, moving towards the sunlight and love..Superman shows his love by saving ppl and literally kissing Lois. Also, it’s smart to toss us into a fully populated superhero universe, that way you move the universe forward immediately and leave open the ability to have origin/childhood flashbacks later.

Im running the reaction video list the last couple days, I'm 46 and admittingly not a huge dc or superman fan I do lean marvel/xmen lol BUT I grew up on Reeves superman movies and either Gunn is a genius which he probably is filmmaking wise but the trailer maybe made me care about Supes again after a very long time, also Nathan Fillian playing an accurate Guy Gardner might be wild to see haha

I've been waiting for this Superman to return to the big screen for so long. There's a reason this teaser blew up. There's a reason Superman is the most important piece of comic IP in history.

David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convinced James Gunn to add the bright colors and trunks back because he believes Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me. This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but won't be much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't pull the focus away to Superman. Btw, the Yamcha pose made my conviction solid to watch this film lol.

I dont understand the hype. The suit is awful. I hoped it looked better in actiion but not. And is laughable reading comments like: its my Superman saving the girl...I remember the other saving another girl. The boy getting up the Supermans sign is awesome....I remember poeple putting a sign in a house asking for help also. But the other doesnt smile...neither this one. The other is an outcast and some people dont like him...well, it seems the same is happening to this one, I dont like the slow motions from another director...the best scene from the teaser is an slow motion. We have again the cute Sups and Lois scene in the air.....and so on,...

You guys remind me of me as a 15 year old watching magic on the silver screen in 78! I have HOPE for this movie especially in these crazy times! We all need escapism and a fun Superman again! Make me believe again! It started well with the air guitar style play of the best superhero theme ever made!

This is all i have to watch. Great trailer. Will wait until the movie comes out.

James Gunn should be allowed to direct every DC character that comes to the screen but that will wea him out but still Gunn is giving Superman the respect he deserves.

Nothing but love guys and respect but Brainiac reveals that Lex is DC's smartest guy not Mr. Terrific but I do think Mr. Terrific is underrated. Glad he's going to get some shine in this Superman movie.

If Superman holds back just by a little vs them two... It's wraps for my Goat 😂🙏🏽 However we still don't know the context behind that it might not be a beating but we'll see. Very good 1st start imo. I really enjoyed the 1st two episodes. Im glad they're releasing new episodes weekly instead of all at once. The only thing DC needed was its own studio, thry niw have it. And they needed someone who knows about comics, they now have that as well.
