Another great catch is the one made by DeWayne Wise, who climbed the wall at U.S. Cellular Field on July 23rd, 2009, making a juggling, tumbling catch, robbing Tampa Bay's Gabe Kapler of a home run, and preserving Mark Buehrle's perfect game. Pretty good for a guy who just came off the bench. Honorable mention-The catch made by Brooklyn's Sandy Amoros in the 7th game of the 1955 World Series at Yankee Stadium, robbing New York's Yogi Berra of extra bases, starting a double play, preserving Johnny Podres shutout, and giving the Dodgers their only World Series title while based in Brooklyn. Without that catch, the Yankees likely would have scored, and Brooklyn would never won a World Series while calling Ebbets Field home.
YOu might at least mention Mickey Mantle's great catch of Gil Hodges's smash to deep center field, saving Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series.
Michael Widlanski-Mantle's counterpart, Duke Snider, made a catch of his own in that same game, making a diving catch, robbing Yogi Berra of a hit in the bottom of the fourth inning, one batter after Mantle opened the scoring, hitting a home run off Brooklyn's Sal Maglie, and ending HIS bid for a perfect game. Up to that time, Maglie retired every batter he faced.
When it comes to the best outfield catchers of all time anyone that knows about baseball knows that the best outfield catchers of all time are Willie Mays, Jim Edmonds and Ricky Henderson. End of story.
This was remarkably poor. The voiceover wasn't synched with the video being played. Players' names were mispronounced. Several great catches (most notably Dwight Evans robbing Joe Morgan of a home run in the 1975 World Series) weren't mentioned. Top ten lists are fraught by their very nature, but this appeared as though very little effort had been made.
I think you should stay focused on the exact catch, not going through numerous other catches. Show the catch and a slo-mo. You only showed Edmunds’ catch once while flashing through other catches he made. If I didn’t know the catch you were referring to, I wouldn’t have been able to figure out what catch you were showing.
Half of this list is garbage. I don’t get why people think that willie mays catch is so great. It’s not even close to some of these catches on this list. Griffey and Edmonds are all that need to be on this list. Edmonds catch against the royals when he was with the angels is the greatest catch I’ve ever seen and Griffey’s catch in Detroit robbing that would be home run was UnFucking believable! I remember seeing that on sports center and I couldn’t believe he got up that high and got his arm stretched out that far over the fence to catch that! Edmonds & Griffey have so many it’s ridiculous! I live in St. Louis so I was lucky enough to see some of those catches at Busch Stadium
I didn’t know Trout was a pitcher? Lol hmm
“Out doos himself”

DEFINITELY agree with the Top 2 !!
i never knew Mike Trout was a pitcher i thought he was always an outfielder
You could've mentioned Devon White catch and an amazing throw to first, and also it happened in the World Series so it is worthy to mention
Thanks !

Derek Jeter going into the stands for a foul ball, and coming up bloodied.
I like the inclusion of Kenny Lofton. I also think that the Endy Chavez one was amazing based on the stakes of a game 7
Gotta put a new one for top 5. Marlins' Jesus Sanchez recently stopping a grand slam bottom of the ninth and securing the win.

Agreed
Ken Griffey Jr - Detroit.
Ken Griffey Jr. - Breaks Wrist, Catches Ball
Where is Andruw Jones and his spiderman catch?????
This guy called Fenway Park Yankee Stadium, & called the Red Sox the Yankees 🤦🏾♂️
Endy Chávez catch
Where's Endy Chavez?

Sorry you think about it this way but thanks for the feedback.
Most of these aren’t even the best catches of the player they’re talking abouts career
We're always open to suggestions !
I've seen a few more better catches
Tell us!

Thanks man! Appreciate your input.
Jim Edmonds catch was better than Willie Mays!
Edmond's is #1 no matter what. Mays is #2 and Griffy #3/ Get over it
mike trout a stand out pitcher?
I was thinking the same thing 😂

But that catch is always remain one of the best and is one of the most famous catch I think that's why it deserves a spot
