I thank God that I have access to the Extraordinary form of the Mass and a couple reverent NO parishes nearby. I pray for those who must endure an irreverent NO like those pictured.
I have stopped going to Mass- God forgive me! I cannot bear the man who goes to get the Holy Eucharist, and opens the tabernacle with the same nonchalance as if it were his kitchen cabinet. I cannot stand it when there are no kneelers and I’m the only one kneeling on the floor, and little kids laugh at me. We are moving soon to another parish where I can go to confession and back to daily Mass.
Latin Masses are the most beautiful & most reverent experience I've ever had in the years I've been Catholic it is how we should be glorifying & honoring our LORD JESUS. TRUE PRESENCE OF CHRIST SHOULD NOT BE TREATED ANY LESS THAN THROUGH THE LATIN MASS.
I pray for my Parrish and the laity there every week. There is no reverence or fear of the Lord there. When I tried to talk to the pastor, he yelled at me and told me that if I wanted quiet prayer before mass, I had to go somewhere else to pray. Please pray for my Parrish!

Our parishes act as if nothing happened before Vatican 2. Even the older people. They know it was different then but they've thrown it all out or forgotten. Very little reverence. They greet their pals before they remember Jesus is in the tabernacle, if they remember at all to reverence Him. All thanks to Vatican TWO. It is a suffering to watch it. Thank you Father. You are the best teacher. I remember you in my daily rosaries.
Agree. It always galls me that everyone kneels after communion until the priest sits. We kneel until the ciborium is placed in the tabernacle and the doors are closed. We have forgotten why we do things.

I would love to have this in writing so that I can reread portions and highlight important points. When my hands are busy these sermons are great, but for quite a few I'd rather read them than listen to them ... or do both.

For He is gracious and He loves Mankind. " God has no favorites - He loves all those that he has created. It is His will that all mankind will be saved. The person that you dislike the most, He loves as much as he loves you. Therefore, your job is not to put yourselves above others, but to pray and be kind to all people. Yes, you must be respectful of every person, be they Protestant, Muslim, Novus Ordo, and any other beliefs, including atheists. Our job on earth is not to sit and criticize others. Why do we have to beat our heads against the wall to be holy? Why can't just one Communion instantly change us into saints? Mortal sin? No man with humility can possibly find a wife (what woman wants a humble man?), which practically guarantees plenty of mortal sins of the flesh.
This is great info and resources-- really superb. However, as a homily or a speech in general it's completely overwhelming and extremely dense. Paragraph-long quotations are too much to audibly intake any day of the week, but especially from complex and deep theological treatises. Faith does come by hearing, but not by sending everything over people's heads. I do hope that the good priest has some handouts or guided notes available for his flock when he preaches because this priest (idk his name--all the ones on here are anonymous--except sometimes Fr. Riperger) regularly recites pages of thick documents. Great intent and can't content, but he needs a more refined and digestible delivery.
But that's exactly why these homilies are preserved and posted on youtube; so you can do just that: hear it again and even pause to take notes, if needed, to be able to better digest everything. That's what I do. But, yeah, I'd be overwhelmed sitting there listening to it in person, although I'm sure there are some take-aways that are valuable. Then you have back up here on UA-cam. Thank God, one of the good things about cyberspace!

Are we not to be humble, humble to be completely obedient to God's will, even as Jesus was completely obedient to The Father, to the point of death, even death on a cross. paula proulx I get tons of comments daily & scan through to see which need addressing. That other one you mentioned I usually delete those bc I don’t have time to deal with sedevacantist ideocracy. It was just timing that I got to you quicker. The NFP thing well most get taught it’s an 8th sacrament. Instead of trusting in Gods will we try to do it ourselves. My wife & I were at marriage prep & they preached that for an hour. We raised our hands & asked if they would comment on Pius XII’s comments on this idea which they conveniently left out. The room was blown away. We had her say it’s only allowed in certain cases which they weren’t gonna say. They actually teach it as a form of birth control (their words). Regarding the Novus ordo yes it’s been a disaster for the church. Stats show the decline. It will eventually die out literally bc the numbers show it is on the decline and the traditional ways are making a comeback in all fields. Again stats prove this. Regular parish teachings as a whole are awful, sacraments are down across the board, etc. I mean there’s a reason this channel is popular bc most don’t get these teachings. Oh type nfp in for more NFP sermons please. God love ya
Sensus Fidelium Well, you are young and were not brought up in the Traditional Church. I would have disagree with your stats, going by the situation in my own city of 750,000, where there is only one parish that has the Latin mass, and they just cut back one mass. Because the mass may sound more reverent in a different language does not mean it is. At least you admitted that you think the Novus Ordo is a " disaster " - not exactly sure what the implications are for us that attend it regularly. If it makes you happy, then go your way. But this channel is definitely not for me.

Prove so otherwise and I’m correct why the negative comments at me? Religious orders down. Priestly vocations down. Attendance down. Sacraments down. Regular parish teachings as a whole are awful, sacraments are down across the board, etc. I mean there’s a reason this channel is popular bc most don’t get these teachings.

Sensus Fidelium Well, you are young and were not brought up in the Traditional Church. I would have disagree with your stats, going by the situation in my own city of 750,000, where there is only one parish that has the Latin mass, and they just cut back one mass. Because the mass may sound more reverent in a different language does not mean it is.
At least you admitted that you think the Novus Ordo is a " disaster " - not exactly sure what the implications are for us that attend it regularly.
If it makes you happy, then go your way. But this channel is definitely not for me.
paula proulx so bc I spoke factually you run? Where am I wrong? Across the board the numbers are down big time since the change in the mass. Are they not? Prove so otherwise and I’m correct why the negative comments at me? Religious orders down. Priestly vocations down. Attendance down. Sacraments down. There’s not any increases except in traditional parishes and orders. Show me please where I’m incorrect
